  • Thank you!

Am still here but still having contractions. Just not quite getting to the 3 in 10 mins the midwife said before going in.

Anyone know how you're supposed to count them? Cos it seems to vary depending on what i'm doing or what position i'm in. If i'm up and wandering about they seem to be every 5 mins or so, but when i'm sat down they're probably only every 10-15 mins or so??

Not put the turkey in cos I haven't got a clue what's gonna happen! Done presents & just had to make OH go & shower so he's ready as/when necessary - he was happy playing with his new toys in his PJs!!

Labour vibes to you Maz..... wishing you a speedy pain free labour.....

Im up and dressed, even made an effort today!
Feel like this Christmas marks the end of an era a bit for me, like next year I'm going to be a proper grown up (LOL sad I know) with husband, house and baby, and next year we've already decided that we'll have a decent family christmas in the north (mostly always broken up because DH - policeman, mum - itu nurse).....

Plus I've got all these big ideas for next christmas, mainly because we couldnt do anything this christmas LOL wit no money etc, but next year.....

Hi, i joined the TTC thread about 8 months ago. We had been ttc for 2.5yrs at that time. We were refered to see consultant and i was placed on Clomid after all our tests come back clear. I had 3 months worth and then an apptmnt to go back to see consultant who then prescribed a further 3 months.

3 weeks ago i had to go for follicular scans to make sure i was ovulating when the blood tests said i were and was told to do a preg test on tues gone if no sign off the dreaded full cycle. Well its now 3 days late and 2 tests later (one last night and one about ten mins ago) two pink lines are still present. Am all excited and trying to contain myself but also confused as what to do next - all i had set in my head was get ready to take next lot of clomid and work out when to go for blood tests this month. I know i will have to go to gp and have it officially confirmed but i am not sure if i have to notify the fertility nurse who i have been seeing etc.

Hubby says its the best xmas yet xxx

Best wishes to all the mad heads on here today who are also ttc or xx weeks gestation.

    Welcome Stef!

Sorry to hear about jha...sending BP-lowering vibes your direction!

Maz, I'd be up and about as much as possible and time your contractions then. It'll help you get to the magic 4cm (well, that's my hospital threshold for being admitted) faster. Good luck!!

Everyone ringing today is asking if I'm still pregnant. No I had the baby last night and decided not to tell you  :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yes, I've discovered 1 downside of being due right around Christmas (other than no booze!!)...I really don't wanna talk to anyone b/c I know the 1st thing they'll ask is about the baby/pregnancy - but then I feel bad as it's Christmas and have to talk to all the requisite family members, etc. Seriously now every time the phone rings, I go and hide!! :p
