Welcome Smithy - I cant believe we're onto July EDD's already!
Elasti that outfits lovely, my sisters tatty teddy obsessed so might get her that as a gift.
I tried to be all organised and do a big online shop last night so I can batch cook tomorrow and today naughty asda have put the big tins of christmas chocs on two for £7 so just spent ages amending my order to include someSomehow lots of other things fell into my virtual trolley too, luckily OH wont be here when its all delivered!
Im debating going to go to town now, I need more RLT anyway and Im very tempted by a starbucks xmassy drink too. Hmm, town or lolling on the sofa?!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Hello,
Just wanted to say a belated congrats to Fidget!! Not been keeping up so just checked last night.
GISI - Next and Mothercare both have turnover scratchmits. I think someone also said that Sainsburys did, but I don't have any so can't comment. I have ones from Tesco and M&S which don't, but the M&S were their Value range so other ones might have them.
ETA
Also, I bought 4 more Tommy Tippee bottles from Boots the other day and they must have changed them as the measurements are clearly marked on them which was the complaint everyone had about the old bottles. If you have any which don't have the measurements marked in black, take them back and get some new ones! They are soooo much better.
Have to agree with the TT bottles - I hve the 150ml ones with ckear markings and they are terrible especially if you are making up bottles one handed as I usually am - I have to get down on my knees to pour the water in!
I know have the larger bottles with black markings on - soooooooooooo much easier!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Afternoon!
Just got back from lunch, i put some tiny cornish pastys in my lunch box this morning and they were sooo nice OH said we can buy them more often
Im going to make some flapjacks hopefully!I need to bookmark your reciepes when i get home so i remember.
Welcome and Congrats to SmithyJules! Yay for a summer baby!
MGEB - I wanted a boy to, and im having a girl. At first i was a bit shocked and a tiny bit in denial, but now im loving it! lol.
Its hard trying to decide what shade of pink to have her room in though lol

Decision made, Im off to town! Ooh, and a royal mail vans pulling up too, hope its more baby parcels! Catch up with you all later xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

smithy - aha, I KNEW there was a difference from greaseproof paper. Stuff sticks HORRIBLY if you bake with greaseproof paper - I've yet to figure out the point of it TBH as it just seems to burn in the oven. The equivalent in American is waxy so stuff doesn't stick to it.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Hi all, sorry looks like I have jumped the queue! Have done new EDD because I wanted you all to know. Tegan Lily (Lily was my late nan's name) was born this morning at 6.07am and we are already home. Left about 11ish. Manged without pain relief which was hard at times especially right at the end. not sure why that happened but it did. I was planning on an epidural yesterday!!
Tegan is lovely even though she has a squashed nose from the labour. will try and put pics up soon. Will see if I can find out how the others are getting on now.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0 -
Yay karen!!! Congrats!!!! And lovely name0

EA - you'll love it i promise! I am not girly in the slightest, but she has brought out my girly side that must be deep inside somewhere. She had me dressing Barbies yesterday afternoon, hehe, i'd never have done that in the past. And asking me to dress her as a princess and paint her nails, lol! OH really wanted a girl, this time he really wants a boy to even the household up, lol - but i am secretly hoping i get my way this time. I'll be happy either way though of course! Oh and for the room - as pink as poss, lol! Pink and white go lovely and balance it out a bit!
Never know though, i may change my mind when my baby nephew comes to stay for 7 weeks.
How on earth did you get hold of 2 big bags of baby clothes for £6? Was it an ebay buy?Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0
