  • Does anyone know which brands of sleepsuits have built in scratchmits that you turn over babies hands? I think Mothercare do, but none of the other ones I've bought seem to......has anyone noticed or am I just being too random?

    Hello,

Just wanted to say a belated congrats to Fidget!! Not been keeping up so just checked last night.

GISI - Next and Mothercare both have turnover scratchmits. I think someone also said that Sainsburys did, but I don't have any so can't comment. I have ones from Tesco and M&S which don't, but the M&S were their Value range so other ones might have them.

    ETA
Also, I bought 4 more Tommy Tippee bottles from Boots the other day and they must have changed them as the measurements are clearly marked on them which was the complaint everyone had about the old bottles. If you have any which don't have the measurements marked in black, take them back and get some new ones! They are soooo much better.
  • Gap do - but are not very :money:

They have lovely kicksuit thingies where the top is like a bodysuit, with turn over hands for making them into mitts but the bottom is drawstring or elasticated - like a massively long dress so they can kick their legs about and you can change nappies barely inturrupting their sleep - i loved these!

  • You beat me to it posting the EDD list, i was just going to press submit and i saw it appear underneath.
Nearly all my new sleepsuits have build in mittens. they were from matalan, m&s and asda. All the ones from my ds don't have them.
Hubby bought this for the baby so he will prob come home in this set.

  • Aw that is cute - i hope my OH will get excited and do some shopping for baby, he prob won't as he thinks too practically. Here's to hoping though!

I can't wait to find out if i am on the pink or blue team....i am secretly hoping pink for three reasons, 1) i have kept everything from DD, she had far far too much so alot is still new! Plus with this bean being due on DD's birthday all the clothes should fit at the right time of year, very :money: . 2) when bean is old enough to move out of my room, i won't have to neutralise DD's pink princess room. And 3) i secretly just would love another pretty little girl, lol! Funny as i only ever wanted a boy before DD was born, lol!

  • thank you to all who replied!

My EDD is 01/07/09 so just a tiny bit pregnant!but still very excited!

we have a daughter already who will be 3 on xmas eve (of all days!) so planned a summer baby this time!

ps May i be so cheeky as to add the baking parchment is different to greaseproof paper?! Baking parchment is a tad more expensive but biscuits etc never stick and the paper needs no greasing. every time i've tried using greaseproof i've ended up picking it off in 1000000 pieces from the bottom of flapjacks, hobnobs etc!
  • Hmmm, thanks for that guys. None of my Gap stuff has them so maybe I've bought the wrong stuff! Good to know that most of the shops do sell them though, maybe it just depends on style.

Elasti- we have a Tatty Teddy coming home outfit too!

I never realised there was a difference! I always use a washable non-stick baking sheet for mine (:money:)!
