Princess – boo to nasty receptionists but yay for buggy – what abargain – I am using pantyliners coz the baby is pushing on my bladder but its def wee - could it be your hind waters again?

Quite possibly im going to hang on until i see the midwife on thursday and see if she can tell i was going to say to her on the phone about it this morning but i knew i had to wait in for asda's and my buggy and didnt want to be having to rush down there.

Speaking of the buggy it is being delivered in about half an hour :D I cant wait im so excited :rotfl: Just hoping its in good condition :o I know it has only been used for a couple of months as she fell pregnant again and decided to but a double but i havent seen it yet :o
Would be just my luck if it turned out to be really bad after the day i have had wouldnt it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I had an email back from asda saying that they would pass it on to the right team to deal with it, it was from the woman that i got the auto reply from saying she wasnt there  still not heard anything from anyone else though  At least i have stopped crying over it now though :o

ETA sorry to hear your news snugglepants sending you a hug xxx

anyone else had a visit from health visitor?
mine's just been out to see me. she seems lovely & it was kind of nice to meet her now & know who'll be checking baby over, but i didn't think they normally came out til afterwards. she gave lots of leaflets & info about different things (like baby groups & b/f & pnd & immunisations) but its all gone over my head really cos at the minute all i can really concentrate on is when she's gonna arrive and getting through the labour part!

was nice to speak to someone who seems interested tho, & seemed to genuinely want to know the things i was telling her about me & OH & other family stuff.
i've seen different midwives all the way through pg & they've all been lovely & polite & answered any questions & checked everything out properly, but they really don't seem to want much to do with me as an individual or know who i am - other than another part of the job. i've always been in & out of appts in 10 minutes (luckily never really had any problems tho).
i'm back in to midwife on wednesday & i bet it's no different, even though that'll only be 2 days off my due date.

I havent and tbh im not sure what is happening with my health visitor (i still see her anyway because of the girls) but i have just put in a complaint about her to PALS for breach of confidentiality after i found out that she read my medical records and then discussed them with somebody else :mad:

I did find out recently though that you can refuse to see a health visitor if you dont feel that you need to see one im actually very tempted to do this after this incident with her but im not sure :o

    thats terrible PP!

I'm happy with this health visitor from what i've seen so far but good to know I can refuse if I don't feel i need to see her.

I just hadn't heard of other people having visits from them before baby arrived so wondered if it was just this area, or even just the health visitor from my surgery.

Sorry to hear that snugglepants. Hugs x
