Hope you don't mind, have gone through and edited (hopefully now will be shorter!!) If anything else needs to be removed I would take out any "personal" touch and strip it down to the basics of what happened, why you are upset and what you want to be done about it.

Thanks hun and of course i dont mind :) Just found an email address for head office though and have sent it off to them, got an auto reply out of the office until today :rolleyes: But it did give me an email address for someone else so have sent it to them too they will listen to me even if it kills me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Think i will go and send that one through the contact us form too :rotfl::o

  • That's rubbish about the asda delivery PP. Tesco messed up with us the other week & ended up not delivering any frozen stuff but it took loads of messing about to find out that we weren't getting it cos kept saying they would return or some back out. Ended up gettin money back for missing items (obviously) & refund for delivery charge & an e-voucher for free delivery next time, plus after emailing them to complain about the level of service, we got £20 e-vouchers & £15 refund (mainly for phone calls)! So i forgave them :-)

I spent ages writing a long (like 2 A4 pages!), in-depth letter of complaint with loads of details (names, times, amounts) so i'm sure they just gave in cos they couldn't be bothered reading it all!

Just found a copy of it actually - the last paragraph was:

'Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the service we received and the stress caused to both me and my partner trying to get this situation resolved. I am upset that I will no longer feel confident in using your online service, as I have always been happy with it in the past, and feel it is a shame that a single mistake that could have been easily resolved has caused such a problem.'

LOL, had such fun writing that!

Som that pushchair's nice - colour is fine for a boy or girl too I'd say :)

Back from the nurse now, thankfully she got the blood no problem! JHA she said 2 weeks ahead is nothing to worry about, her words were 'we worry about babies that don't grow enough not so much those that grow quickly' - my mum had big babies and she's near enough a foot shorter than me, so not expecting a tiny one!! I did ask if it was anything to worry about & she said no as it's a fairly old fashioned way of measuring anyway

PP boo to stupid Asda, how annoying, esp the egg, I'd have been livid  would have added to it as I'm a fan of writing angry letters but Mermaid's done it already!

    My list:
    1 Travel the world
    2 Buy a house

    3 Get married
4 Establish a good career (I was getting there...then got pregnant!!)
    5 Pay off their debts
    6
Become fully qualified in a profession
    7
    Pass their driving test
    8 Establish financial security
    9
    Save money
10 Take part in an extreme sport such as skydiving, bungee jumping or abseiling (I had a skydive booked, got rained off, booked again...got pregnant!)
    11
    Own a car
    12
    Renovate a house
    13
    Fall in love
    14
Learn another language (does GCSE French count? :p)
15 Establish a good social life

    16 Achieve goal weight
17 Live or work abroad (if Camp America counts..)
    18
Learn to play a musical instrument
    19 Get fit
    20
    Learn to swim
    21 Run a marathon
22 Set up or run their own business

    23
    Move to a new location
24 Teach at home or abroad
    25
    Learn to horse ride
26 Learn to ride a motorbike
    27 Publish a book
    28 Learn to deep-sea dive
    29
    Climb a mountain

The only things on there I'd like to have done are establish a career & get married! Not really sure how to define financial security in this day & age  Oooh & one day I'd love to publish a book, maybe one day...:o

OH has a haircut booked at 5 so gonna drive him to save parking and go for a mooch around a retail park, really don't need to buy anything though, must not spend!

oooh just had an email from Freecycle, been offered a once used breast pump :money: woo hoo mega chuffed, I wanted to get one but didn't want to buy as I'm not sure if I'll be able to bf yet so that's ace :j
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
  • anyone else had a visit from health visitor?
mine's just been out to see me. she seems lovely & it was kind of nice to meet her now & know who'll be checking baby over, but i didn't think they normally came out til afterwards. she gave lots of leaflets & info about different things (like baby groups & b/f & pnd & immunisations) but its all gone over my head really cos at the minute all i can really concentrate on is when she's gonna arrive and getting through the labour part!

was nice to speak to someone who seems interested tho, & seemed to genuinely want to know the things i was telling her about me & OH & other family stuff.
i've seen different midwives all the way through pg & they've all been lovely & polite & answered any questions & checked everything out properly, but they really don't seem to want much to do with me as an individual or know who i am - other than another part of the job. i've always been in & out of appts in 10 minutes (luckily never really had any problems tho).
i'm back in to midwife on wednesday & i bet it's no different, even though that'll only be 2 days off my due date.
