Well I'm sat here wasting time when should be making dinner...decided the smell of the beef was enough to make me puke to stew is on hold til OH can cut it for me tomorrow so i can just quickly cook it without having the raw beef smell! Not sure what to make now...

oooh Aless, v jealous of Ikea meatballs...yum, maybe we could go there for tea :rotfl:

CAFCgirl sooo pleased all went well at the scan :j:j I had a scan at 13 weeks, a family friend did it for me, he tried to look but said he had no idea! Though apparently his colleague could sex a baby from 12 weeks with fairly decent accuracy so totally possible that it's right

JHA you've picked a really beautiful name I love that it's a bit different & reflects both parents heritage, if OH would let me, I'd call our boy Etienne...apparently being totally not French means we can't OH's mum's Polish/Ukranian so we did think we might go down that route...but I think 3 middle names would be a bit extreme as he'll already have 2 from my side:rotfl:

Kindof - your bump looks perfect Mine's still tiny in the morning though it looks big by nighttime, will post a pic soon. & stretchmarks, I won't lie, I don't like mine much!!! So far I've got one by the side of my belly button but it looks more like an angry pink mark at the moment, hoping & praying that I don't get many more. Though darling OH pointed one out the other day under my belly, not that I can see it!

Gym: Thanks hun, am now tempted with a doppler but knowing my luck i ont be able tofind heartbeat and will send myself into blind panic. TBH I could have watched the ultrasound all day....

Now we're stck with names. DH and I had agreed two girls names that we both love,but boys names are a sticking point....

Congrats Lou!!

CAFC - congrats on team blue! I was 14+5 at my first scan & the sonographer said there was no way she'd be able to tell then. But i know some don't like saying even when they do know (just in case its wrong).

Wow huge congrats to Lou!! I have been thinking about her all day and i totally called it that she was having a boy I guessed jha was team pink too so i'm on a roll :rotfl:

I'm having a HB now, to try and eliminate some of my worries about getting DS and the pets looked after when i am in hospital, and to feel better about birthing alone, and i'm gonna have my own student mw there who is so lovely, only met her for 10 mins today and feel like i already know her, and it's her first birth so i'm really excited to have her there, provided all goes to plan!!

Hope everyone else is okay, good to see you back CAFC and good luck with the move up here tomorrow

Congrats at your scan CAFC! Apparently they can tell based on a little nub, if its pointing a certain way (up or down) it tells the gender.

I researched it ages ago hehe.

Im a little sad, just found out OH is finishing work at 8pm instead of 7pm like i thought. I wanted a cuddle lol.

Bit annoyed at my dad, he said y'day he couldn't make it as he was busy and can he come today. Well i've text him twice and called him and he's not answering me. Im sure a quick text to say he's busy wouldn't hurt, instead of going on one of his "im going to ignore my phone" sessions :mad:
