It was so good wasn't it?! Me and OH discussed the results and he thought the white parents should of got the baby seeing as she grew him, gave birth to him and cared for him for 10 months

Yes i def thought the white parents should have kept him after all he was 10 months old by the time they had to give him up he had a strong bond with them. Very hard though on both parents, Ds was his own little person by 10 months and i know genetics play a big part but i think enviroment and the actual up bringing of the child makes them who they are. Ooh too deep.
I think lesley sharpe is fab in it.
Btw after me bragging about how the swine flu jab was a breeze. It has been killing me. I couldn't sleep on that side at all and i can't stand anyone even so much as brushing by my arm it is so painful. I have a bruise and a tiny bump.
Hubby said the nurse did it too low and put it in fat not muscle like where he had his. I wish he had done it for me, he is so gentle when he does injections.
Hospital said he was allowed to do my injection to thin my blood the day before the section but as he doesn't work for that hospital they have now changed their minds. Which means a trip to the hospital on the sunday. Not sure he would have really liked to have done it on me even though he does them all the time. This is my signature!0 -
bloomin 'ell, these lounge curtains are demonic - managed to sew the header tape on in a straight line but broke a needle in the process so now down to one needle on MIL's 40 year old sewing machine. Twenty quid says the nearest stockist of the right needles is in either Lands End / John O'Groats.
Anyways, PP, what a nightmare about the hospital. Looking at the birthchoice website, your next nearest ones aren't exactly close either, I really don't know what I'd do in your shoes. But just looked it does "perform better" when you look at the detailed stats the one I am booked into - and a whole load of other London hospitals too  but I have to say that the care, apart from the community midwives I saw early on and one of the doctors I've seen, has been good so perhaps focus on that from your experience rather than the big media picture?
EA - hope you feel better soon.0 -
awww work just did me a lovely card & pressie (to be expected, but it's still nice when it happens!). Going to clock off soon, not so much because I'm dying to leave, but because it's boiling hot in here! :rotfl:
DH is having his best mate over tonight, so I'm sure I'll be spamming this thread later as I retreat from boy talk & disaster movies on the TV.

I agree with the cs dates in brackets too, now can I be picky too as it has been bugging me a bit:o
Do we have to have the big overbearing confused people on the list next to the people who haven't found (are not sharing) the gender something like  seems much more discreet and would look a lot tidier:D or even just left blamk like it used to be:p
Sorry to be a pain, those shakey head people are just so BIG and obtrusive!

At first i thought the confused shaky heads were people who didn't know their due date! :rotfl:
Do you know the saying "I before E except after C"? Does that not count in the word "Their" :rotfl: I just got confused and had to google it to see what was the correct spelling
Just watched a documentry about conjoined twins, they didn't make it, and im sat here crying, bloody hormones0 -
Hi,
I'm hoping you ladies on here can give me some advice. Had a missed miscarriage in august cycle after that was 36 days. Last cycle was 32 days. I'm now on day 33 and keep getting cramps like AF due to start but not had any spotting or anything. Been like that for 2 days. Also occasionally feel sick but not sure if I'm just imagining it. Did a cheapie test this morning and negative. Has this happened to any of you?

That saying is ridiculous as there are so many exceptions to the rule that is is barely a rule, or even a guide for that matter!!
Hormones eh!! I know what you mean:)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Hi, no sorry I haven't had anything like that really. I have had two miscarriages and each time my cycles were messed up for many months afterwards.....maybe wait until after the 36 days and test again if no AF.
Sorry can't help more

Yeah this used to bug me and still does, and i've commented on it a few times but i was ignored so i thought i was in the minority :rotfl:
Originally, the<< was to indicate those who wanted to find out the sex at their 20 week scan but baby didn't allow it. But now it's being used for those who don't want to know/didn't ask/haven't had the scan yet - which is/could be pretty much at least 80% of the whole EDD list

Thanks redmel I'll do that. In August it was my 2nd miscarriage too. Fingers crossed AF stays away.0
