Well - I was thinking of our discussion regarding in-laws visiting after the birth. Over the weekend, both MIL and DH's grandmother commented on their intention to 'see a lot more of me' when I'm on ML and somehow, I don't think they mean just me.....
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are all well! I popped on last night to catch up and announce the arrival of little Dylan Joseph who was born at 11.06pm on Fri :jafter a bit of a traumatic birth .......but the post disappeared when I tried to submit it grr, I was too shattered to redo it then so here I am now.
He let us sleep pretty well last night but today he's made up for it and fed relentlessly so couldn't get on until now.
I will post birth story - and a bit about that induction as soon as I get chance along with some pics of our lovely little one x
Hope something happens for Helen and Karen soon and labour vibes to everyone who needs them. x
Hope princessplaty's bean is behaving now.x
Yay congratulations Fidget!!!!! :beer::j:D:j:beer:
And :hello: Dylan!
Glad you are home and well now!
I'm too busy at work to catch up on everythingbut hope everyone is ok today.
Hopefully not doing much tonight though so may be able to find out what's going on then!0 -
Anytime - i wish someone could have sent me some over the weekend
OH's parents came to stay, they (including OH) went off shopping and left me with the 3 kids even though i was up and down like a yo-yo to the loo to be sick  I was not impressed at all. I ended taking their youngest and my DD out trick or treating (i was supposed to be relaxing) in the end as they stayed out fishing and didn't let me know, grrr - had to take em as it was getting really late and they only got to do 20mins in the end:mad:
Never mind - i am home alone now. Yay peace and quiet!!!:T
Yay for the new thread too :j But 10 pages in two days, whoa ladies!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
lol!! I just nearly uploaded a listing to ebay with £99 starting price!! haha

I must admit after the initial few days i did love some of the company but the first few days i was in hosp a bit bored so that might be why. MIL was great as she took DD off my hands so i could have a bath or brang a nice cooked dinner for me. She didn't mind if DD was asleep either, not one of those that really must see bubs awake. I like MIL alot - we didn't get on a few years ago, just because of the tension with the family as she is OH's stepmum but we all get on great now and i can chat to her about nearly anything
I think i am lucky as i have my close friends/family (just a few) who i don't mind being around anytime and as we are close if i am tired i can fall asleep on the sofa in front of and they won't think any less of me, spesh my bessie mate she was in hosp everyday after bubs was born and everyday in the run up to the birth for about 2 weeks, she'd visit after work without fail, bless her.
The other friends and family we prefer to visit rather than any of them visiting us and i don't think any of them know exactly where we live or could find it if they tried, haha!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
EA - be careful, i used a previous listing as a template once on TL, didn't realise it had gallery plus added (clothing, it was free to add at the time of the initial listing) which added £1 each to about 25 listings
Luckily after lots and lots of beggingsome nice person i emailed at ebay said they'd refund it just this once for me....pheww!
And the amount of times i have created a listing and hit cancel instead of saveeverytime it happens i feel like crying
Hows the Ebaying going EA? xMummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

Its going ok, i want to list some of my old clothes but im not to sure if you have to give free P&P or not. So far i have £2.76 in bids, and i have 6 days left on 5 items and 10 days on 2 that i did today
I have quite a few watchers thoughx

Sounds good!:T
Yeah go for it and list the clothes. I find that's what makes me the most moneyIf you really get into it like i did, i'd suggest getting one of those body form mannequin thingies (about £6) but only if you have a big wardrobe, or rather 3 wardrobes to clear like i did
- i'll pm you a link to my stuff later if you like.
I don't think you have to offer free p&p unless selling accessories or belts or something like that - so if i do and it's a known brand, ie topshop i'll stick it in with clothing (it's naughty but it's the only way to get around it as i have no idea where they got free p&p from)

According to something i read on ebay they offer free P&P as most online stores offer it to, and apprently it gives you more business... Silly ebay lol.
Yeah email me a link
Im only selling my old old goth clothes, that are hardly ever worn lol. And then i'll be selling m maternity clothes when i grow out of them or have the babyx
