good job I did the wallpaper stripping this morning before I popped on to say hello at lunchtime - put a dvd on after lunch and just woken up!!!

DP will be chuffed I've not been running around moving boxes and unpacking and doing stuff all day but feel quite guilty - figure as he is working I should be some kind of domestic goddess and he should come home to dinner on the table and all that, well not on the table right now as that's covered in sewing as started making all the new curtains this weekend.

Tried bathroom and fridge (and bin and recycling and a couple of other places!) for lost paperwork but to no avail, think I'll just ring the bank and get them to send everything again!

Had texts and emails from my mum today saying as it's a boy it's bound to be late (typical male was her reckoning!) and she has a christmas party that she's banking on getting out of on december 11th as she'll be on a plane / over here! which reminds me, must check :money:flights!

welcomes to quite a few newbies too - must be these cold, drawing in winter nights doing the trick ;)

And last but not least - bigggggggggggggggggggggggg evening / overnight labour vibes gisi, charlie, fatty & boogelly.
  • Yay for pregnant lady naps! I'm going to miss that.

Always- I bet as soon as you phone up to report the card as lost, it will turn up!

I really should tidy up so that house is tidy for post-baby visitors but I really cannot be bothered. Maybe after tea....
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • Thank you for the vibes.

Always - Loving the sound of your sleepy afternoon :)

Grr Nikkit thats so annoying about the present. Do any of the websites that sell it have an option to tell you when they come back in stock?

Well I have started writing down when my periody type achyness starts and finishes. Just incase they turn into something more substantial. The last two have been a bit more painful and the top of my right leg is hurting now too during them. Dont think they can be proper contractions though as although horrible they are not totally taking my breath away. Think I will just continue to write them down to be on safe side though!!

Oh I forgot to say, they also have asked me to check my temperature every 4 hours to make sure it doesnt go up and they gave me some disposable under tongue thermometers :)
    Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j
  • Right lets try again hopefully this time i wont have to rush off and say hello to the toilet for the millionth time today :rotfl:

jha nursery looks fab :j im jealous though i was gonna get LO's nursery sorted out properly next week but my friend has decided she is bringing her air bed over next week and coming to stay for a few weeks so that she knows that im ok and that she is here if i need her :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I wouldnt mind she only lives 10mins away from me anyway :rotfl:

aless i cant sit at the kitchen table neither havent been able to for a few weeks now and i have given up sitting at my desk with the lappy so im on the sofa with it now :rotfl::rotfl:

always i always find random things that i cant find in the fridge too :o so that would have been my suggested place to look to :rotfl: but if its not there then i cant help :rotfl: whilst we are on the subject of missing things though i realised last night after the girls beds had been put up that DD1's quilt is missing  I can find all the others but not that one  God knows where it has gone she is using a spare double quilt at the moment until i can find it cant think where the hell it can be though i have looked everywhere  Also noticed i have quite a few clothes missing too including exs uni hoodie which he wants back  Im starting to wonder whether those idiots that moved me lost more than just the bedroom furniture now though

Cant believe im 29th on the list :eek::eek:

mel im sure your scan on friday will be fine try not to worry xxx

ooh booboo how exciting hopefully wont be long for you now!!! :j:j

GISI Sending you hugeeeeeeeeeee labour vibes over night and hope something happpens before tomorrow, the chances are it might i went into labour with DD2 2 hours before i was due to be induced so there is still time :D Baby GISI move ya bum come on we are all waiting!!! :p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Welcome to all the newbies too many of you to remember all your names :rotfl: Huge congratulations to all of you :D Hope you have a healthy, happy 9 months!! :D

ymakesmile ~ if you have any cocodomol you can take that if you dont have any paracetamol, hope you feel better soon xxx

nikki thats rubbish :( do they not sell it anywhere else that you could try?

EA im jealous i wish i could have got some sleep today :rotfl:

Woke up this morning late and i mean like at half 9  DD1 never made it to school (didnt see much point by the time id got myself and both of them ready and got her there it would have been time to pick her up again, i cant wait til she starts doing full days again, stupid education departments doing different things in different areas  ) I must have seriously over done it yesterday as i slept through 3 alarms and the kids trying to wake me too

Went to the chemist coz i have got thrush well at least i think thats what it is  to be told that coz im pregnant i have to see a doctor  thought it was odd coz i was pretty sure you could have the canestan cream whilst you are pregnant. Anyway had an appointment with the midwife this afternoon so thought i would just ask her whilst i was there rather than waste a doctors appointment which someone else could have used.

Went to midwifes appointment and it was the same midwife i saw 2 weeks ago, not my normal and theres something about her that i just dont like

Im measuring at 35 weeks which considering im 32+5 today and the extra fluid im carrying isnt to bad. She had a lot of trouble finding babies heartbeat and when she did it was really faint. I have been told to keep an eye on movements and if they reduce then im to go straight up to the hospital. I have to go back to the doctors on weds for them to repeat the blood tests, tried to get her to ring the hospital for the rest of my results while i was there (thought it would be easier coz then she could sort out anything that needed redoing or whatever while i was there) and got told theres no point all their systems are down and they cant access anything
Mentioned to her about the thrush and she said there is no reason why the chemist shouldnt give it to me
Asked her about the prescription that the hospital gave me (the hospital said i could get the gp to redo it rather than going up there) and got told they wouldnt do it so there was no point in even asking, when i left i went to reception and asked them and they took the prescription from me and said they will have it ready for tomorrow after 2 for me
She asked me if i was still having a home birth at which point i said im too high risk to be allowed one now aint i? her reply was 'oh yer'

Just feel like it was a complete waste of my time going  Got to go back in 2 weeks again in her words 'if you aint had it by then'

Ended up going to another chemist who sold me canestan and only mentioned seeing a doctor if it didnt clear it and i needed a stronger one as they werent to sell me anything stronger!

So all in all i feel like i have completly wasted my whole day backwards n forwards from different places for no real reason at all. :(

Gym and kindof - Happy 24 weeks :D

Kindof - your cross stitch is coming along nicely and the outfit is sooo cute.

Gym - that pic frame is lovely and well done on the xmas shopping, I havent even started!

jha - great nursery love how everything is at hand, like Nikkit are lil one will be in with us for a while (till we move) but does have her own corner.

Aless - OH has agreed to sleep on couch if need so will see how we go.

Lou - fab news about the new car x

ymakesmile - welcome and congrats, I think you'll find you may still get a booking appt at around 8 weeks with your mw. As for headaches ( Isuffered stupidly painful miagraines for weeks just after my 1st tri), you can rtake paracetamol and 4head is safe too.

jessiemacalucy - another newbie yeay, welcome and well done.

Always - I'm gonna guess freezer, just cos its random but where my mum has frequently lost things (usually her purse).

leopardlady - woot! yeay for your BFP good to have you here :)

Faty and Gisi - big labour vibages for you both xxx

PP - am so sorry your still feeling yucky hun, get well soon vibes for you.

Nikkit - that sux about the OH xmas gift, hope something turns up, oh and thanks for the info about constipation, am still suffering a little so will give raisins etc a go one at a time.

Right well nothing new from me except am still getting sweaty in new work trousers (tho they are way comfier so that a plus), but its causing chaffing which is really uncomfortable after 9 1/2 hours at work!25 week appointment on Friday, then I can get MATB1 and Hipg woohoo.
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
    Working on baby no2 :D
  • Som- I suffered chafing as well when I was on my feet all day at work. I found a bit of baby powder helped.

PP- you must have really needed that sleep this morning. Sorry you're still feeling rubbish though.

Fattybooboo- sounds very promising. I'm getting tightenings every ten minutes or so but they're not really painful, just a bit sore so not sure if they're the real deal or not?!
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p
  • Som ~ if the chafing gets that bad there are anti chafing gels that you can buy like this one http://www.lanacane.co.uk/products/gel.asp dont know if they are any good though as never used it!

Keeping everything crossed this turns into something for you GISI xxx
