I just went into town to go to the bank but got distracted by Christmas shopping in Hotel Chocolat and forgot to go to the bank afetr I left there! Ha ha! Got a couple more bits of my shopping done though so I'm feeling quite smug now!
Does anyone else think it's ridiculous that you have to go into a store to collect your boots points when you buy online? You can see how many points you already have online but they can't add new ones on. Knowing me I'll forget to go get them added on and lose them0 -

Yes my mum is having difficulty with this0 -
SJ you can collect them for 12 months from when their allocated to your account. Your not able to spend them online without going instore to order, with bubs on the way you may need a few bits from there sooner or later. My mum lives abroad and places loads of .com orders then collects fortunes in points when she comes over (between us last year we had about 8 'free' digital cameras paid for with points and countless other things
Mr B doesnt have as many good points glitches anymore though )
My water's only just come back on! Id gone past the nice feeling of just having a lazy morning and felt dirty and wanted a shower. I even went down to shout but there wasnt anyone their doing any work  (admittedly I rang OH and had a little cry, not too sure what I expected him to do about it but it made me feel better)
Maz thats what my MIL was like too, just expects me to go along with it. Im going to turn up with hampers and say I didnt have chance to make things, wave belly monkey at them and hope they forgive meShe did tell me off the other day for not leaving her anything to buy for baby for xmas, at most she'll be 5 weeks old and doesnt need anything
My SIL who lives abroad is due 4 weeks after me and she's buying them an £80 playmat and wants me to have one too. Im more than happy with my £1.50 car boot buy

Having a bit of a christmas crisis. Have to get presents for my mum, dad, aunt (ds's godmother), 8 y/o bro, 15 m/o foster baby (mums a f/c), ds and dh for £80 . I have no idea how i'm gonna manage to pull it off
. All the people above help me out loads with looking after ds and i'm unsure how i'd cope without them so i want to give them something nice. To top it all off my mum and aunties (they're twins) have their birthday 6 days before christmas :eek:
Methinks i'm gonna have to be very thrifty with my shopping. If any of you ladies have any thrifty gift ideas then please let me know
Anyhoo i'm gonna have my very late lunch now (chicken curry) and try not to stress about pressie buying. Luckily me dh has a few computers he may be able to get a bit of money for flogging on ebay.Married since 28/04/2007

Not much happening here. I'm quite twingey but I wonder if that is just because baby is too big for my abdomen now?!
Hi Im back now. Just trying to catch up but just to say hope ur twinges come to something GISI xx
Will quickly update you as to whats happened. I went to the midwife, it was a different one to my normal one I had last time.
She said she wouldnt do a sweep today as too earlybut she had a feel and said Im now 2/5 palp which I think means 3/5 engaged doesnt it, so thats 1/5 more than 2 weeks ago so thats good. She let me listen to heartbeat again so that was good.
However when she measured my bump it was measuing 33cm whereas 2 weeks ago it was 36cm. So she rang my hospital and have booked me in for a scan on Monday morning first thing to check everything is ok, to be on the safe side. She said as long as I am feeling normal movements then there is nothing to worry about. As long as that all goes ok, then I am booked for a sweep on Tues when I will be 6 days overdue. :j Although fingers crossed something may have started happening naturally by then anyway!!
So sorry for the waffle but thats my latest!! Also picked up the clothes I won on ebay and they are in good condition so thats good, oh and my car seat weatherproof protector thing arrived from ebay so I will go and check it fits ok in a min
Lilac - Congratulations on finding out you are on team pink :TBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
MrsI if you have a look on the special occasions board their are loads of ideas for hampers that can be done quite cheaply. Things like movie night in, car care, chocaholics, food/booze etc. And little things you can maybe make with your little one to personalise them a bit too. The ladies on their are masters at eeking out budgets to make things look a lot more expensive than they really have cost.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

Ahh thanks, 12 months isn't so bad then. Do think it's a shame you can't collect or use points online though.
Just got some more xmas shopping done though! I'll be finished today at this rate! Chargrilled.co.uk have buy 3 get 1 free on their t shirts so bought ones for sister, her hubby and my BIL, and then free one for DH, also found a code for 12% off on hotdeals so feeling pretty pleased with myself now!!

Boogelly - Love your bump cast, thats a great momento of your pregnancy!!
I would deffo do the bbs like you did too.
SJ - Yes I totally think its rubbish that you have to go into Boots store to collect the points earnt online. I reckon they just hope we will forget and lose out. Luckily the couple of times I have ordered online I have remembered.
Soz, still catching up hehe!!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Booboo sorry you didn't get your sweep but not too long to wait until Tuesday (if you make it that far!!) Hope everyhting is ok with the scan. Could that be anything to do with bump dropping? (I honestly don't know but thought I'd suggest it!)
MrsI also how about home made gifts eg gingerbread men or cinder toffee?0 -
Thanks SJ - Yes ur right, midwife did say that the bump dropping could affect it, also if the baby is led differently to last time. Im not too worried whilst I can still feeling him squirming around inside
Good deal on hotdeals I have just tried is to get an M&S personalised card for 49p postage only, its here.Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0
