Ive lurked a bit this morning but Im in one of those sleepy muzzy headed CBA type moods so relevant hugs, congratulations, feel better soons and any other vibes people would like

Im meant to be making my cot mobile today but even that seems too strenuous, belly monkeys obviously sleepy too as Im only getting an occasional squirm from side to side. Someone please give me a shove off the sofa!

always, glad to see you popping on! Good to hear the move went well and you're getting settled. Eeeek, scary to think you'll likely be the 1st of the December ladies to go - seeing people in my own month that can go at anytime is scarrry! :eek:

boogelly - you should try the 15 minutes thing (who started that? kindof? Can't remember!!). 15 min of work, 15 min rest, and repeat. It really helps get butt off sofa!!

Im back, just caught up. Do we know know what time GISI had her midwife appt? I am itching to hear how her sweep went!!

Hi Boogelly, I am having lots of days like yours too, I am trying to get off the sofa to run the hoover over the car as its a state and dont wanna be bringing baby home in manky car, although, part of me is secretly hoping the effort of hoovering the car might bring on labour, hehe!!

It's not until 4:20, which knowing my MW means I won't be seen till about 5pm! I really hope she does the sweep though and doesn't say she hasn't got time.

Gisi stage a sit-in if she tries to say she hasnt got time! I think you've been really patient so far, the least they can do is a sweep today.

I only got home at about 12.30 from the hospital, we got there at 9.30! they lost my notes and completely forgot i was there:mad: I had to complain as i has been there for well over an hour and that's when they realised so they wouldn't have if i hadn't said anything. I didn't want to complain to soon as there are signs every where saying some people may come in after you but are seen before you so not to worry it is just their system etc and they are always running 30 mins late anyway.

By the time i was seen she had to rush the scan said the baby was 5lbs and head down, i then had to wait to see my consultant but he had gone by then as Morning clinc was finishing :mad: so i saw a registrar and MW and they were both horrible! My consultant was very pro section but the registrar was pro VBAC She knew nothing of my history and said i had section last time due to slow progress and a raised BMI !!!!!!! Read my notes you moron. Section due to fetal distress and his heart stopped!

She went on and on about my BMI i nearly said you can just say i am a fat cow you know. Risk of blood transfusion as raised BMI, could damage your bladder cos of BMI prob will get an infection, may need a hysterectomy if anything goes wrong cos of BMI etc hubby was really mad as he said will i def be able to come into theatre this time i don't want to miss it again. MW snapped well not if she has to have GA you won't be allowed. There is no need to be nasty, they really did both have a strop on.

She then went on to say i have a 60% chance of VBAC that may end in a section anyway So i just said well my consultant and MW advised me to have a section so that is what i am having. I had to sign the consent form there and then.

Elasti - your appointment and MW sux! How rude of her, am so dreading getting someone like that. Do you mind if I ask yor BMI? mines hi and I know that but to constantly lectured is rude , I mean its not like you can do anything about it at this stage is there!
