Hi Lou, still planning to post my BS at some point but just haven't had the time yet. I did have LO in the Carmen Suite but not in the room with the pools, when I got there they were already in use however I told them I didn't want to go to the normal delivery ward so they let me stay in the room they usually use to assess people but which is fully equipped for birth and with its own shower room and bed for OH so still much nicer than the delivery ward. Then you get to stay in Carmen after the birth which is much quieter than the normal ward. All the midwives in Carmen were lovely so I would really recommend it. Yay you on being well enough to get booked in :j

    :j:j
That's sounds good to me !!! Was booked in yeaterday so hopefully there are not many women having babies that day. We have our nct classes in the same place and it seem quite peaceful, Will some please tell bumper that mummy does not like tomatoes because i dont normally like them i have not got any but really fancy them at the moment.

Have a turkey and coleslaw sandwich but forgot my money for avon so may have to walk to tooting to get it out grrrwww
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j
  • Hiya ladies :hello:

Think that my ds is well on the road to recovery with regards to the sores in his mouth :j however he has developed a strange rash on his legs so i'm gonna treat it with camomile lotion and if it seems worse this evening then we will be popping down to the hospital (hopefully they'll prescibe a cream to make the rash go away - it seems almost like his napy rash except it was on his calves:confused:).

Am feeling very greedy today as i have worked my way through a pack of mikados and still feel like i could eat another packet (i won't though - at least not until this evening) :D
    :EasterBun

Does anyone know how to make a very basic and easy fish soup recipie as i want to make some for my DS but have no clue how to. Obviously something rather bland as his mouth is still kind of sensitive. I was thinking of putting water, a stock cube, some veggies and fish in a pan and boiling this but i don't know if that's the right way to make fish soup .

gym - your foof pain sounds just like mine, MW reckons it's SPD. I called the physio yesterday and they called me back this morning with an appointment for Friday :j. When is your 25 week appt? If it's not soon give your MW a call and see what they say. hth.

jha - thanks for the tip, I'm going on the hunt for a giant pillow today!

    Back laters x

Oh, and someone was asking about cheap maternity tops? I got 2 bump bands from Asda (£8) and a couple of £3 normal tops from Matalan like 3 sizes bigger than normal. To say my maternity wardrobe is compact is an understatement :rotfl:
