The bumper was from toys r us in their bargain bin - I have seen something very similar in the local Asda Living Store tho. (I'm sure it's the same - was £30 and you got bumper and various other bits and pieces)
The fleece blanket was mothercare, quite pricey at £22 (I got it with 20% off) and then I have just used neutral sheets from argos. The winnie the pooh ones were so expensive and I didnt see the point when you can't see them. I have the matching lampshade and mobile, also from mothercare, but I got the mobile off ebay bnib for £15 less than mothercares prices!
Michelle M - My DH and I have the same argument sometimes. We don't 'need' to buy things 2nd hand or look for as many bargains as I do, but I don't see the point in paying full price for something if I can save money! I'd rather have the money put away in savings to give us and bubs a good future.
Thanks Gill, I am aiming for a similar 'neutral' look to my nursery so I too can use items again for baby no 2... ahem... ! <mind you maybe I should concentrate on this one atm!
I have got a seaside themed cot bumper and catching sheets which i really like, but i have had my heart set on winnie the pooh! A friend dropped a cot off at my house today that they didnt want, I hope its ok and then that'll be one less expense. My OH is the same as some of yours, saying to me that I dont have to do things so cheaply!! He really wants to buy a new pram so we might just get that, I just hate the idea of spending loads of money and the baby probably wont appreciate it, would rather keep money for when they're older and asking for stuff!!0 -
Normally I just copy and paste. Nevermind, I suppose all scan pics look pretty much the same
will keep trying though

No, we decided not to (or rather I didn't want to know
). It was very difficult yesterday at the scan though not asking! I think it makes the whole birth thing more exciting if you dn't know too,

lol. I just don't want to say the same thing that I did to my DD when she was born. I hate myself to this day for it.What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

what happened? With us, although we will be delighted with whatever we get, I think we'd both 'rather' have a girl. My slight worry was that one of us would feel slightly dispointed with a blue one then feel really guilty. I also think genuinely there's too few things that are left secret in life and I can't wait for the moment when hubby hands me our little bundle and tells me what flavour it is :AUpdating soon...0

Well all through my pregnancy my mum and I were certain it was a boy. I looked down and my exact words were "Oh no, It's a girl"
I'm not a very paitent person thoughWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -

I think we all make mistakes, at least she won't remember! :A
