Gill i only inserted for the last week and that was on top of what i was takng oraly.
For the arnica yes i started taking it 3 days before my due date obviously you will need to keep going if you go over but arnica wont do you any harm :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Gillby hasn't been on for a few days - wonder whether she's been booked in for a section.
Hiya - still here and been logging in occassionally to keep up with everyone, but have had family over and loads of hospital appointments/tests before the c-section. Baby still bum down, as expected! Apparantly i now have to wash with antibac soap every day until the op, and use new towels and bedsheets every day too:eek:! Just the thought of making the bed every day is making me feel knackered, but i guess it helps to prevent MRSA etc.
Congrats Kelinik - can't wait for the birth story:T. Good luck to Redstar and Jolene.
Thanks for reminder re baby event. OH passed his driving test yesterday (1st try, clever boy!), so once we get home with the baby i can send him out for supplies!:)
Gill - very jealous of your gorgeous nursery. We're renting a one-bed place while we save a deposit, so cot/changing table and everything else is squished into our room. Will be v. cosy for a few months!
Take care everyone xDebt free date: October 2006 :money:0 -
Re: EPO, Don't think I'll bother with them this time as my cervix was tough last time and had to be ripped during a sweep anyway so ( Imo ) I'm not sure they did much for me and its so messy after inserting them
Id recommemd the RLT though.
I feel tired today but got loads of spring cleaning I want to do, just having a catch up and a cuddle with Sofia..any exscuse to sit down.
Gill- Love the nursery - it makes me all broody ! lol0 -
Congrats nene on your scan, sorry he/she was being naughty not to show their bits!!
Gill, can't see the nursery pics at work as we are still in the dark ages of windows 2000, will look tonight can't wait to start ours.
Got my bottle of gaviscon at pharmacy, as haven't got exemption form as the pharmacist for an exemption form, she asked why and said for maternity. Bless her as she was pregnant (lovely bump and dressed it well too) she said as you got baby on board badge don't worry you don't have to pay. Should keep me going for a while, does anyone know if I need another do I ring docs to get a repeat prescription or do I need to see them again, never done this before so sorry for asking stupid question?
Also sat in office not too happy as do training and my colleagues seem to seriously overrunning, meant to be starting my session about now but they have only just started the previous session. So I'll go on, have to rush as everyone wants to go home. I think maybe my rage is compounded by preg hormones.Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

We wanted to keep it as neutral as possible, mainly because most people dont know what we're having but also because I dont want to buy new stuff next time round lol
The cot bumper was only £4 in babies r us! It's not classic winnie the pooh like the rest of the time but fits in ok and I couldn't have condoned paying £40 at mothercare!Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Congrats to kelinik!
Lovely nursery gill, cant wait to get ours done but weve a whole house to redecorate and buy furniture for too!
I think the pregnancy hormones are spreading- was looking at new cooker and washing machine online last night with hubby and I was commenting on how expensive everything is now... he told me to stop worrying about money and that one off purchases are worth the extra if its good quality, etc etc. Then he made a comment about me looking for too many 'bargains' and that I'll be buying baby suits at 32p if I could. This caused me to burst into tears! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I was so offended! :rotfl:
Me and OH rarely argue so he just gave me a cuddle and told me stop being daft (which I def was). We have been saving loads and both have good jobs, I guess Im just letting the way my mum brought me up (save EVERY penny) affect the choices im making.
Back to work next week, glad Ive been lucky enough to enjoy the easter hols! Then only 4 weeks before Mat leave!First baby born 10/06/10:heartpuls 6lb 10z:heartpulsI love my little family0 -
Hi all,
Love you nursery Gill, you have the cot and bedding that I wanted! Unfortunately I just cant afford the cot at the mo, where did you get the bedding from?? I remember seeing it somewhere but cant remember where!! I love Winnie the Pooh, so would also love a Winnie the Pooh theme!!
Feel abit rough atm, 2nd day back at work and I feel like the manager hasnt listened when I told him not to stress me out, I havent stopped since 9am and now he jus keeps piling more stuff on me, I feel so nackeredi also have college tonight 5pm until 7.30pm and feel like I am too nackered for that too, but then I think its only until may so it seems a waste not to go.
Had a parcel carded last night, I was excited thinking it was Pumpkin but it wasnt, it was a vw campervan towel I dont even remember ordering! I am hoping when I get home later this evening OH will have my Pumpkin parcel, but I seriously doubt it!! I am very impressed with Kiddicare, they emailed me yesterday saying to expect my parcel today, they then text me this morning telling me it would be delivered today between 1pm and 2pm! I dont think a delivery company has ever text me delivery details, or even managed to give an hour slot, its normally 'between 8am and 8pm' lol. Looking forward to seeing my swing I ordered but I will have to go collect it from my mums another evening!0 -

The bumper was from toys r us in their bargain bin - I have seen something very similar in the local Asda Living Store tho. (I'm sure it's the same - was £30 and you got bumper and various other bits and pieces)
The fleece blanket was mothercare, quite pricey at £22 (I got it with 20% off) and then I have just used neutral sheets from argos. The winnie the pooh ones were so expensive and I didnt see the point when you can't see them. I have the matching lampshade and mobile, also from mothercare, but I got the mobile off ebay bnib for £15 less than mothercares prices!
Michelle M - My DH and I have the same argument sometimes. We don't 'need' to buy things 2nd hand or look for as many bargains as I do, but I don't see the point in paying full price for something if I can save money! I'd rather have the money put away in savings to give us and bubs a good future.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Hi ladies,
Nene, if you can, could you add the yellow ? symbol next to my name on the list.
Just been shopping, bought some trousers and a top and some tights in New Look using the 25% off voucher :money:which will do me at work now until I leave (I can cope with safety pins at home but scared of flashing my bits at my students at work ). Went for a look in Mothercare too, sooooo much gorgeous stuff. Funnily enough I had the same conversation with my hubby about being tight-fisted. I'm just getting worse I think and there's no real need for it, or at least not to the extreme I take it.
Still can't post my scan picI'm definitely having a baby though :rotfl::T
Feel pretty rubbish today, had a really bad night sleep worrying about hubby and his horrible job, phoned my best friend this morning and burst into tears on her. Got a physio appt later though which might be nice
