I've just been to the mw and heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time :j:j:j Lovely to hear - especially as my very heavy and clumsy 6 yr old landed on my tummy the other day so I was a bit panicky.
I'm off to read back and catch up - not been on for ages as we've been decorating and building furniture every night0 -

Evil people... I've just had to buy a few bits from Pumkin Patch!!:p:rotfl:
Only a few unisex bits though;):D
I did look the other day and was very good... but you lot FORCED me into buying today!:p
Ha ha think of the money you have saved though smartie not what you have actually spent!! If I knew what we were having then would have brought loads luckily not much unisex in the sale and maternity stuff not in my size.0 -
Anyone who has registered with sainsburys little ones club and not had welcome pack do email them
husband registered and never got a pack and emailed them last week and they have emailed apologising and saying they have now run out of packs and have been advised to give customers 2000 points as an apology and these will be credited to his nectar card ready for use within 72hrs!!
Think thats fair enough and least they have apologised we both have different nectar accounts and have both signed up to tesco and sainsburys baby clubs!! Oh well nectar points equals £10 worth of shopping, which we will save with out other points for xmas - never saved them before usually spend as we go but with me being on mat leave this xmas will need every help we can get!0 -

I've just had a mooch and bought a couple of bits - could have bought loads if we knew the sex, so much cute stuff.0 -
Hello everyone
Wow it's been quiet on here today!
Ethelsmum - glad you got to hear heartbeat
Kitkat - fab news about your scan.
I've just had my last day at work! I have 4.5 wks holiday now before my mat leave kicks in on my due date. (unless baby comes early ofcourse) I'm absolutely shattered - spent the day running around making sure that everything was as it should be and remerchandising my shop. I think I'm mad - should've been winding down lol. Felt quite sad at the end but wasn't too bad as I'm seeing all my staff at the pub on Friday night for a mini leaving do.
Got a bargainous travelcot from quality save today. it's a Hauck winne the pooh one for £30 rrp £70. They had loads at lunchtime then only 3 left when I popped over at 5 so glad I didnt leave it for another day!
Quick labour vibes for Mo, and Jopsey too if you want them.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Hi everyone, im 13 weeks and 1 day now, and am getting a pain in my left side, its very painful, has anyone else had this. Got a letter this morning too for a appointment for my blood tests i think, except it was at the wrong hospital. Waiting for midwife to get back to me, so it can be sorted out. Don't know how they managed that, the hospitals both start with a B lol.Married 09/09/090

Hi everyone, hope you and bumps are all well!
Have spent the day cleaning and washing, and am totally knackered! Took so much effort to change the bed sheets that i ended up lying down to listen to my hypnotherapy CD as soon as i'd finished and fell asleep for ages. I'm not sure that's how you're supposed to do it, but better than nothing!
gill_81uk - Yay for joining me on maternity leave!:j I know it can be a wrench leaving work/colleagues, but i hope you enjoy the break before baba makes an appearance. I'm loving not having to commute into London every day. :T
Ethelsmum - glad everything is ok. My niece (8 months) kicked me in the tummy whilst i was changing her nappy a few months back, and i was so worried! Clearly i need to work on my nappy changing technique!
Moneysaver12 - i had loads of bad stabbing/crampy/stretching pains during the first few months of pregnancy, and i never found out the cause, but baby seems to be doing fine at 36 weeks, so probably nothing to worry about! That said, if you are worried, if you have any other concerning symptoms or if the pain doesn't go away fairly quickly then do call your midwife/doctor just to be on the safe side.
Eek! I'm ashamed to admit that Pumpkin Patch got me, too. I bought a sleeping bag and snuggle blanket thingy. Must not buy any more baby stuff!!!
Off to raid the ice cream again. Turning into a bit of a habit!:D
Have a good evening xxxDebt free date: October 2006 :money:0 -
