Sidekick- I went through a similar thign when I fell pregnant, had lots of tears, but as soon as I had my first scan (had to have an early one because of the risk of it being ectopic which was how we found out) I just knew I couldn't do anything but be a mum. It took OH rather longer to come around to it and he cried loads and didn't talk to me for about a week, I told him I didn't mind if he wanted to walk away as I didn't want to pressurize him into being a dad, but I couldn't have an abortion. I have nothing against people who do, but i'm not a strong enough person to cope afterwards. He is now as excited as I am, but still has worries
Nikkit- Glad things are OK now, again I have been through similar with OH, I am naturally paranoid and often think I am punching above my weight with OH and being pg does make it worse too as u don't have as much control over your emotions. I think we women also tend to overthink things and tie ourselves up in knots too.
For homemade chips I wash a potato cut into wedges and bake with frylight spray for about 25 minutes. I don't bother with parboiling, but do with roast potatoes.
Had my 28 week appt today and had anti-D injection. I cried when she was getting ev erything ready, I have tattoos and piercings but am a quivering wrreck when it comes to injections or blood tests! Also had a blood test yesterday and now have a bruise the size of a nectarine on my arm so feeling a bit battered.

Gymfiend - I would be f*cked off if that was me, grrr to them!!!
Gemma - Im the same, i dont mind being pierced or tattooed, it doesn't hurt. But i hate injections and having my blood taken! lol.
I got out of having my BCG when i was at school as im naturally immune, i was soo happy lol.
Moosmummy - Hope the scan and consultant appoinment went ok!
Thanks for the homemade chips reciepes, i cannot parboil to save my life though, i always leave it for to long or not long enough, the first time i ever made roast potatos the par boiling bit pretty much made them into mash.
So i just shaped them into potatos and stuck them in the oven

LOL, I'm the same way - love being barefoot, hate everything else. First thing I do when getting home from anywhere is take off shoes + socks. Hate having anything on my feet. Growing up, my dad used to yell at me because I'd even go outside barefoot in winter! (though it was Texas, so not THAT cold
