Sounds like your enjoying motherhood EA which is lovely to hear:-)
Cafc glad to hear your feeling better today :-)
Still no news from kindof well they do say no news is good news so hope she has her mommy cuddles now :-)
Well ive just emailed my letter to HR about my maternity leave dates with the car being caput i have asked them to work it so i dont have to go back until after this new one is born. I'm hoping they dont decide to play silly beggers with me MS Deville (thats what we call the boss lol) can be a right awkward cow when she doesnt like someone and ive never been her favorite person in the world mind you her not having to see me for another 9 months might be right up her street ;-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Afternoon everyone
Sorry for those of you having OH problems. My OH is my rock and I couldn't be without him so I guess I am rather lucky with how much he cares and looks after me.
Went to town this morning and my nan bought paint for us to decorate the baby's room, so I am looking forward to getting that done.
On a grosser note I think I have piles or a fissure as when I 'go' it really hurts and there has been blood. I suffered occasionally before being pg but its been a lot more often since falling pg. I have come to hate my bowels. I have suffered since a child with constipation. Now I have this horrible image of me being in labour and god knows what being pushed out my back end, lol.0 -
Welcome money saving diva
I get bump ache all the time doing housework, I really should take things a bit easier but I'm my own worst enemy.0 -
Welcome 'Diva.....
Im sure someone will add you to the list soon...
Im half tempted to sign up to lovefilm or something to give me something to entertain myself during the days.... you can get games off there as well, which now we've got a wii might help.
Think Im just really bored, im so used to working full time in high energy positions and exercising/gym etc....and now im not doing anything, and thats a real shift in lifestyle.
Bump is fidgetting around a lot more now, getting less kicks and more rolling movements if that makes sense....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I think my water broke, about 30 minutes ago.
I stood up to have a hug with OH and felt a dribble. Just waiting for a call back from the maternity people to tell me where to go to be checked over.
Could be my time???Happily married mama of 50 -
Oooh best of luck Fishcake!0

We're with tesco which is powered by lovefilm but worked out better for us at the time because of free points that we got for signing up.
Are you with quidco? If so check all the dvd rentals and see which is offering the best cashback. There's also codes for 2 month trials instead of 1 which you can put in during sign up (go through quidco first)

You might find you don't want to carry on after baby comes but will certainly help keep you occupied in meantime

Hello
Looking forward to hearing off of Som... and I hope we get news from Kindof soon!!
Sorry about those having OH probs. All I can say is men:mad:
EA... it's normal for babies to lose weight so don't worry:)
I had another major bargain yesterday... nest of tables £35 instead of £100:j The only problem is that buying them gave me the urge to totally arrange the living room/dining room which HAD to be done straightaway!!:rotfl:
I've been feeling quite down so I treated myself to an expensive haircut today! Didn't really help:oBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Good Luck Fishcake!
Congrats Som! Cant wait to see pics!
Re: OH's, mine can be a pain in the !!!! but he has been brilliant when I have been ill in the past, he calms me down and gets me breathing better (I suffer from asthma really badly). I spent most of my childhood/ teenage years in hospital but since I have lived with him, I have been so much better as he knows how to cope with my illness (not saying my parents didnt but he knows not to panic himself which helps) if i ask him to rub my back he will for about 2 seconds before he gets bored. I find I am always using the excuse 'the baby wants you to rub my back, the baby wants jelly', etc works well!
I didn't even think about mothers day (appart from my dear mother of course!) , spose I didnt even realise that in a few months time I will be classed a 'mother' lol. So I never even noticed not getting a card or gift, however last night on facebook I noticed OH's cousin put in her status 'received my 1st mothers day card and gift from my bump' so infront of OH I started telling off my bump for forgetting me! I then said 'its ok you can get me double next year' OH just laughed!0
