I am not saying it is what is happening in your neighbourhood ,but if this becomes a regular accurance ,keep an eye out who is going to the van at this time of night as it could be the ice cream man is not just selling ice cream ,could be copy dvd's or even worse drug's  they are a well known for it !!0 -
Will do jopsey he is the regular icecream man though ive never noticed him here this late before he normally comes as the kids get home from school. I personally dont like him very much he seems a bit creepy but i have no justification for me feeling like that.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

re ice cream vans- I am sure our ice cream van sells something dodgy, it comes round at all hours, sometimes as late as 10, even in the middle of winter it comes round often twice or more a day- ridiculous. It really annoys me because it makes me want an ice cream, though have never gone to get one as I fear it may not what I was expecting!!!
Kindof- Sorry your pains seem to have stopped. I had 3 days of pre labour and it is really frustrating. I just tried to get on and do stuff, arranged to see friends etc as I looked at it like a watched pot never boils! I thought I would be tempting fate to send me into proper labour if I was out and aboutNot sure it worked though as DD was 2.5 weeks late little madam. Hope things pick up for you later on tonight and it is the real deal. Just try and get as much rest as you possibly can cos you will need it! x

oooh I love this idea, thanks! Thinking if we put the bit of foam and mattress inside mattress protector with a fitted sheet on top then baby will never be able to get to foam eitherMight have a plan (unless anyone can see any major flaws with that??)
choccy - that's fab news, so pleased for you
Kindof - booo to pains stopping....looks like Som might be first nowWe should be taking bets!
That's definitely odd about an ice cream van at that time of night when it's dark...could understand it on a long summer night maybe. I hate our icecream man coz I saw him drop a mars bar wrapper out of his driver window into our road!!! How unneccessary is that????? He must have a bin in there. I have boycotted him ever since....hope we have a new one by the time baby is old enough to mither for ice cream lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
