Does anyone find an icecream van doing the rounds at almost 8pm on a cold night a little strange ?? I could understand if it was summer and light nights :-S

oooh Kindof and Som - sounds promising! Looks like Kindof might be first tho - very exciting :)

Had a bit of a mixed evening so far

Was really pleased when I got in coz I've bought myself a nice big bag to use as a changing bag with my voucher from peacocks for £6, I've had a free pack of Johnsons baby wipes for testing?! and my tesco baby club pack has arrived with lots of good vouchers.

Then I went upstairs to look at the cot which DH has put up to find that I bought the wrong size mattress! So annoyed with myself coz I knew I needed 70 x 140 but have ended up with 70 x 130. Peed off with DH (in the nicest possible way!) as well coz he's taken the packaging off without making sure it fit properly/asking me so now we can't take it back. That's £65 down the drain :( Can probably sell it on ebay but obv won't get anywhere near as much for it. Booo

btw has anyone else had the free wipes? They're from Redconsultancy.com and have a compliments slip which says "please find baby wipes enclosed for testing"

Gill could you not go to somewhere like dunelms and get a piece of foam cut to size to fit the gap make sure it is at the feet end of the cot. your little man will be a good few months old before you need to worry about him being able to get stuck down there or pull it out and at least you would get some use out of it before you have to sell it at a loss ?

  • Ooooh wow Kindof I soooo hope this is it!

Som aww hoping the twinges come back thick and fast for you!

Well I had my 32w scan yesterday to check the soft markers picked up at the 20 w scan (dilated right renal kidney and ecogenic focus) and the kidneys looked fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO dilation at all-infact it was measuring 4.3mm whereas 12weeks ago it wqas 5.7mm so it looks like any kidney blockage has now gone:j:j:j

Not only is it great that baby is all healthy it also means that soft marker is no longer there and therefore my downs odds have gone back to original prediction of 1 in 24,000 :j:j:j

They didn't check the ecogenic focus as consultant said it wasn't a health issue and was only a soft marker if another anomoly was picked up.:D

Consul also took growth measurements as routine and FL and AC measurements were great (75th centile) but the consultant told registrar don't even bother trying to get Head Circumfrance measurements as it would be impossible as baby was already as far down as they get:eek: great gotta walk round like that for 8 weeks:eek:

So,so relieved and happy couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. Really wasn't expecting it to have all corrected itself was just hoping it hadn't got worse.:D
    Busy mummy of 4.:j
