Good luck Nikkit! I know I've missed you but wanted to say it anyway
Ahh Nene she's a sweetheart!
Glad you had a nice evening KindofBless your OH!
Glad you managed to pick up some bargains Jopsey, I spent about £15 and got the sling, moses mattress & a camera case, v pleased
Pigpen I didn't use the Mothercare plan but I think Som did? I can't see why it wouldn't be a good idea? If prices drop, do they sell you things cheaper or do you have to pay the price at the time the plan was set up?
CAFC hope you have a good day today, relax and watch some rubbish TVOr plan baby things - always a lovely thing to do! & without wishing to sound totally cheesy, you have a husband and a baby on the way - those two things are worth far more than any amount of money, the debt is a short term thing that you can get rid of, just try and appreciate all the wonderful things you do have rather than getting down about the things you don't
Been up for ages this morning, off to return the bedding to Asda in a mo and fill the car up, then I will finish packing my bag. Then I'm going to have a nose around for jobs for OH, he's had enough of where he is now & he wants to earn a bit more money so my options are open for going back to working, bless him. Not sure I would want to not work though...but I guess that'll change when I don't want to leave my baby all day! Right, must get up & dressed!
Labour vibes for all in needBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Good Luck to Nikkit, hope all goes well today!!
Thanks Neneromanova for your pics, and I must say you do not look rough at all, you look pretty good been as you've just given birth! I have to admit I had never even considered a water birth but now I am finding I am, surely it relaxes you more when giving birth normally? Hmmm got some thinking to do!!
I've noticed afew of you have posted your ages; I am 23, will be 24 when bubs arrives. This is my first child and I am abit nervous about it all!0 -
Morning all.
Sending everything-go-well vibes to Nikkit!
I'm 34 weeks today and time seems to have slowed down. Anyone else due the same time finding it pretty tough going now? The thought of 6 or 7 more weeks of this and worse is making me right grumpy, am hoping to evict him in 4 LOL!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
Morning everyone!
I'm one of the 'older' mums I think - I'm 34 this year, and have to admit I'm feeling this pregnancy a lot more than my last (when I was 29)
CAFC - I'm sorry that you feel down. I know how you feel about not being where you thought you would be at a certain age. I'm only now getting to be where I wanted to be 10 years ago! I wanted to have my children with less of an age gap between them, but quite frankly we couldn't afford another child until recently.
Nikkit - thinking of you, hope everything's going well.
Nene - your daughter's gorgeous and thank-you for sharing the pics!
Just in case anyone else stalks the TTC thread and hasn't been over there yet - Confuzzled's got a BFP!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Gym, The guy said you get the stuff at the price it is when you order it.. so if it reduces you could always buy it at the cheaper price and knock it off your order I would assume.. I'm needing about £900 of stuff.. and I have 6 lots of school uniform to buy.. all before September.. and DS2's is about £400 on its own! :eek:LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
