Has anyone used the Mothercare babyplan thing??
They are doing 10% off if you open one before the end of February.. and I need all the huge expensive stuff so thought they'd make a great storage facility until July... I have also been offered an extra 10% off the car seat and cotbed.. I don't really have room to store stuff anf don't want to risk my stuff being out of stock when I want it..

Evening all
Spent my evening watching tv and eating KFC, had a zinger tower fillet meal (large) despite the heartburn.... which is coming in waves for about 5 mins then nothing, and Ive had a couple of incidents of throwing up a little in my mouth (sorry if TMI)..... but my dinner was yummy and hit the spot.....
Trying to think of what to do with my day tomorrow as DH will be at work from 9 till about 10pm..... I get really bored with noone to talk to. Thank god we got the dongle organised LOL.....Might be a day of chores and letter writing. I REALLY need to get my finances in order. Someone please shout at me if I dont get this done tomorrow....
Som - I think in terms of birthday im just depressed because this isnt how I expected my life to be at 26. I mean I am so thankful to be blessed with baby and DH, but we've got huge debts, cant afford anything really, and Ive just made so many mistakes over the past 5 years, ive really bummed myself out that I did it all to myself.... but I guess at least Ive done it all at a fairly early age and have time to recover
Then I also think its a lot to do with it being mothers day the day before.... My parents are coming up to visit us and my sister but its all about mothers day, and taking my mum out for dinner, and although I think someone might do a little recognition that I am gonna be a mum too.... its all about arranging something my mum would like to do for the weekend.... and noone has even mentionned my birthday.... but that just makes me sound like such a selfish brat
Oh and DH is gonna be working a 12 hour shift..... and I dont know anyone here and it just feels like such a non event......
Anyone must stop moaning and drink more cold milk LOL
P.S Anyone know where I can get hold of some reasonably priced moses basket sheets?Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Blimey I do feel a little old. I will be 36 when baby comes, I was 30 when I had my first lo. I do feel a lot more tired this time round but I do have 2 other lo's to look after.0

Back now I've bagged my bargains
Kindof hope you've had a nice evening with bro & his wifeOH does the window cleaning from the inside - he uses kitchen roll & a window spray...seems to work ok?!
Agree that a flat screen tv is a waste of NHS resources...if it's free, somehow, imagine it'll be like on the ward where you have to pay? So they make their pennies!
Just got back from my parents, mum has made us a bedding setI love it, it's got a really random bird print on it, and a cover for the changing mat in bright red hippo print from Ikea
Soooo chuffed, we'd bought some from Asda @ the weekend and this is so much nicer the other ones are packed up to be returned tomorrow, woohoo for mums!
Yes we did thanks, he was here till 9 which is when we are usually in bed lol so I am a little bit tired lol
They will deffo make you pay I reckon, In my hospital each bed has a TV thats flat screen that swings around and can come over your bed and you have to buy cards that have credit on and you use them for the tv and phone, I think you get the net as well, well I am hoping I get the net cos I want to tell you all asap lol
Awww that sounds like a lush present
Sorry Pigpen I cant help lol I dont know what you should do lol
YAY dinner snap CAFC well kinda (I have a fully loaded box) (((hugs)) I think the plus side like you say is that you are in debt while you are young and have time to sort it all out, thats how I am tying to think, we are in debt and will hopefully be debt free in 6 years time, and I just try and make myself feel better by thinking well Elliot will only be 6 then, and thats when we will start holidaying etc anyway?
We got moses basjet sheets from matalan 2 for £4
Thanks for that Scruffy
GOOD LUCK NIKKIT XXXX

OMG I am 8th now that Nikkit has gone :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
OH was so sweet last night, he woke me up at 5am all upset and distressed and crying a bit, and I was like aww whats wrong, he'd has a bad dream
He dreamt me and him had gone into hospital and my dad was there (no way on earth that would happen) and his mam and dad were waiting in the car.
And he said they made me and him walk for miles ot the other side of the hospital and when we got there they said we were in the wrong place, so OH was like you cant expect her to walk all the way back so they got the bed to put me on and the wheeled me away
And then he couldnt find me, no one could tell him where I was
So he was all weepy and he was saying this morning, I cant ever lose you baby, I couldnt live without you, and I was like AWWWWW then he was like I want beany here now lol so beany got a tlaking to lol through the belly "if youwanna come beany anyytime from now is good lol"Debt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Nene those pics are lovely
Your LO is a cutie, can I ask what she weighed?
She was 7lbs 5ozs and born at 7:03 pm. lol. Hard to remember which way round it is sometimes.
This is little lady 23 months later:
EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to add, I remember someone asking if you could take G&A to the pool/bath. I don't know about a bath but they had a wheely G&A to wheel over to me while I was in there....but when it came to pushing they took it awaymeanies.
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
