  • KT- Congrats to you!

Dear Prudence- I weighed myself last at 18 weeks and I had put on 8lbs. I had read about 4lbs in first tri and then a pound a week in second tri is perfectly alright. ;)

Back from hospital now, they have cut my mole out of my boob and now it bloody hurts! Because i was pregnant they couldn't give me adrenaline, only the local anesthetic alone. And the adrealine helps keeps the anesthetic in my system. But it just came out with the bleeding. :(

Have a 2cm cut with stiches now :(

Remember last night i used that clary sage oil? Well about 2am i woke up with these pains and they hurt alot! I went to the toilet and had some diawoowoo and then went back to bed still having pains.
Mainly in my back and bump, but i fell asleep between each one and eventually they stopped.

So thats the first time BH's have woken me up, looking good so far :D

Awww I forgot you were having that done :( isnt your follow up appointment meant to be in 3 weeks but you might be in labour so its ages after lol

Where did you get his oil from??? I may be interested in getting some

Someone mentioned to me nipple stimulation is really good, I am kinda scared to try it though lol

EA awww I bet she is really pleased to have him home, what does he weigh now?

    Thanks LMF

Congrats KT :) sorry it was traumnatic xxx

Guinea my baby's back is on the right hand side of me is that not good? the MW today didnt seem to think it was a problem??? so if you imagine his head is engaged (although not fully) his back is down my right side, his bum is like inbetween my boobs but slightly more to the right and his legs and feets and hands are down my left side

DP I did find it hard working full time and then coming home and making teas etc etc and being pregnant, I am pleased you had a great time

I am so tired today, I hope I can sleep well tonight, just had a RLT so hopefully that will help me sleep

I got it from ebay, much cheaper than H&B :) I got some Jojoba oil to use as a carrier oil, as your not meant to put it directly onto skin.

I shall find the ebay page in a second :)

The nipple stimulation seems to much effort, its 15 mins per nipple for an hour, 3 times a day! lol.

And he weighs about 5/6pounds now :) Such a cutie though :D

At ante natal they said head on the right side is ok, but it means baby has to turn all the way round to get out, left side is the best as they only turn a little.

I hope baby has gone back to her good position, she was back-to-back a few weeks ago  lol

    Clary sage oil link

    Carrier oils link

I got Jojoba cause OH is allergic to nuts, but i've researched this and Almond oil is a good one to use or Lavender oil to as it helps to relax you :)
I hate the smell of lavender though so i didn't get it lol.

    :)

what does the mw mean by this:

well, some mild period like cramps only then settled, active baby, asymptomatic

So I googled asympotmatic and it says this

Asymptomatic: Without symptoms. For example, an asymptomatic infection is an infection with no symptoms.

I dont have an infection, so what does she mean??

I dont think she means you've got an infection hun.
What she means is you're presenting with no symptoms.....

The infection thing is just an example of where you use it in a sentence, i.e some people who are pregnant have no symptoms such as morning sickness/fatigue.....

is it written in your notes? Im just trying to work out the context... is that all that there is?

She means you are fit and well but are worrying about some cramping but the baby is active so she doesn't think that there is any problem but felt she should report what you were concerned about.

Babies are often quieter in the days running up to delivery so she doesn't think you will be going into labour in the next few days. Also you've had no blood loss so there is nothing interesting to report.

So from that I would deduce.. you should stop worrying about the cramping.. :p
