    Hello All

Smartie only another week til 12wks, my scan is when I am almost 15wks glad I had an early scan at almost 7wks as would equally be thinking hope I am as far as I think!!

Congrats Twinkles on your baby daughter.

Am still feeling sick most of the time have periods where I feel ok but do often wake in the night feeling sick then burp away for an hr or so much to the annoyance of my husband!!

sainsburys have 25% off their TU range starting today so going tommorow to have a look as really want the hungry caterpillar babygrow and its £8 I think so will only be £6 - blooming marvellous charge about £13 I think and £8 for the bibs which sainsburys sell for £3.50!!!

We saw that hungry caterpillar stuff yesterday and I'm begging DH to take me there to buy something now it's on offer;):D

Just popping on quickly to say that baby Alexander was born on Sunday 21st at 9:36 after my induction, weighing 7lbs 10... was all a bit traumatic but he is here now.

We are both doing well, he is a complete sweetheart and is a very placid, peaceful baby. loving being a mummy :D

Mum has agreed to take me out tomorrow so I can have a bit of a shop and walk. Really going out for those RLT tablets and will try them.
Midwife said that the baby's back is to the side, although the head is engaged. Do you think this is anything to worry about?

  • hi everyone!

been away on hol so not even attempted to catch up with this thread... other than to say CONGRATULATIONS to twinklie and KT :)

And to Nikkit, can't believe you were still here when I got back, I was hoping for some news, but really hope all goes well with the induction.

had such a nice hol, just relaxed and did fun stuff, and saw Phantom in the West End, was great!

well am 17+3 today, feeling like i'm just really flabby, but definitely getting a forward bump rather than sideways which is good! still not felt anything definite but THINK i have been getting more fluttery sensations so hoping for a good ol kick soon :)

i weighed myself last week and i've put on half a stone since my booking appointment, would you say this is ok for 17 weeks?

i am finding it SO hard at work at the moment. has anyone else found it really hard working full time and being preggers? I know that sounds so pathetic and i never thought i'd be like this, but it makes me sick/tired/stressed and I hate it!!! maybe it's just coming back after a lovely holiday.

CAFC love the pics of the nursery, so glad you've got somewhere nice to live and can have puppy with you as well :)

DP - I worked full time and found it very tiring! It didnt help that some of the staff werent being very nice either and so made it such a chore for me to be there.

KT - Well done hun, big congrats to you and yours. Sorry to hear it was all a bit traumatic but like you say he is here and well now so thats whats important x

Guinea - yeay for your Mum taking you out :D

LMF - My stretch marks appeared suddenly too! I have them either side of my lower tummy but there not so bad. One side has faded and the other has gotten a lil darker.

nene - thats so sad, poor parents :(

EA - Someone we know here went into labour today at 32 weeks! Personally I think its cos she didnt give up smoking, but even still I hope LO is ok.

Well just popped out to M&S with OH, he got a £10 gift voucher for his birthday and as he isnt a big M&S fan decided to use it in the food hall for chocolate and cake goodies :D
Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpuls
