The bump pics are amazing. Its good to look over when you get into your late stages.
Also take one when your very early in, i have a pic of me in my underwear before i knew i was pregnant (it was a new set i was testing to see how it looked lol)
And i had so many body hang ups but when i look at this pic now i think i looked great and it was all in my head and now im massive lol!0 -
I wish I'd done that with my bump! I absolutely love it and will actually miss it when the baby is born. I have only taken a few photos of bump and most of them clothed so you can only see how big I am. Maybe next time?

Kindof - all I will say is have patience when bra shopping! I tried on about 6 different bras all appeared to be exactly the same but because the stupid manufactures are awkward non of then fitted the same! This was just mothercare god knows how many you'd have to try if you were looking about different stores/brands. Oh and get a bra fitter who knows ahat there doing, I measured at 44b but thats not what I bought cos it didnt fit. My OH has a Petrol Monster truck broken in the loft! It cost about £450 by the time we bought it with all the gear, the novelty wore off after about 6/9months when he realised he is technically inept and I refused to repair it anymore! Yup me I replaced the axle and alsorts on it cos he would have a strop, its annoying how much we wasted on it I keep telling him to sell it if its not being used.
sidekick - thats wrotten you dont get any invites out, have you tried asking friends if they fancy doing something? Me I dont have that prob as I only have 1 friend as such lol. I think I started to show quite early cos I remember having to buy mat jeans early, though it wasnt an obvious baby bump!
Glam - I love the second pic of jack in his bouncer, he looks so cute and dinkyOh and the chillaxing pic is such a man pose hehe.
gill - flapjacks sound lush
EA - I have dried apricots, alpine cearal bars, some juice cartons and water, and some boiled sweets for me. OH has a sweet selection, some mini cheddars
and 2 bottles of pepsi. If Im in longer he'll pop to his mums or get her to bring something in, there are no fast food places near by and the cafe is sooo expensive. Oh I have tomato soup for home tooLove the bump timeline too I want to do something like that for my scrap book.
1more - yeay for feeling deffinate kicks
ymake - I didnt feel deffinate movement till I was 19+6 before that was flutters that could just have been gas lol.
Well actualy managed to go out for OHs birthday meal last night and wasnt so bad, we had his whingy aunt and uncle with us! I wouldnt choose to go out with them but OHs parents asked and OH said he didnt mind so I figure his meal, his choice. Got to bed at 11 and was shattered so thought I might get a good nights sleep. Err No! Cant figure out if its because I cant get comfy or cos OH is such a fidget and snores loads. Been up since 4.30 at 6 OH shouted down to ask if I was ok, when I shouted back I was uncomfy and couldnt sleep, I got an "oh ok Im off back to bed!" Men! Wish I could sleep like him.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Well massive labour vibes to kindof
EA hide the before pregnancy underwear shot now they will only depress you after the birth until your back in shape.
I have loads of bump shots from the last pregnancy Oh insisted on taking them everytime i came out the bathroom. It used to make me cringed but he said i never looked sexier and i believe him now :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
I'll def do the bump shots...think DH was thinking I meant completely starkers and planned to show them around! :rotfl:
I don't have any kind of bump yet, sometimes looks a bit like it when I'm bloated but just gas!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Lol Rach, that's the kinda thing my OH would say! Try tunic type tops to hide bump for a few more weeks, I could easily get away with wearing loose tops and nobody knowing for ages. Or lots of layers, vest, top, cardi etc!
I've only got about 4 bump pics, as 'bump' didn't appear til about 26 weeks and didnt really look massively preg til about 28 weeks I think (answers Sidekicks Q too) I didn't tell most of my friends til after 20 weeks & nobody guessed either
Suddenly this last couple of weeks it's got massive though  We went out on Friday night and there were loads of people who hadn't seen me since Xmas time and they were shocked at home enormous I am!
Smartie :j for feeling bean
EA hope your sis gets sorted soonMust be a horrid time for her. We've not planned what to take to hospital yet but I have bought some bottles of Lucozade (4 for a £1 in Home Bargains
) as I imagine OH will be tired, might help, and will save spending a quid a bottle in the hospital! & will chuck in some of whatever cereal bars are around on the day, we've always got loads. If I get stuck in hospital post baby, I intend to send OH out to eat (loads of places over the road from the hospital) with whoever is visiting, then getting them to bring me food :rotfl: Makes me wonder actually, wonder if you can specify that you don't eat specific foods to the hospital?!
1more :j for baby kicks, best feeling ever :j
Glam, Jack is so cute, he's got such a lovely cheeky face
Ymakes I'm sure you'll feel bean soon, I don't think it was obvious to me til after 20 weeks sometime, but once I knew what it felt like, I thought I'd felt him sooner iykwim?
Sounds like braxton hicks to me Gill :T
Esio someone told me that Tesco clothes wash well? We've a couple of packs of cheap vests from there, something like £4 for 5, and they've got 25% off at the moment too, so even if they don't wash well I'll get over it.
Glad you managed to get out for OHs birthday Som & it wasn't too bad, did you get to have lovely food to make up for moany relatives?
Labour vibes to everyone who'd like them, Som, Kindof, EA, Nikkit especially! (Hope I've not missed anyone - have pretty much just got up!) & I'd love some back
Woke up to loads of snow this morningReally gutted, so sick of it. Meant to go on til midday then stop so fingers crossed it does then disappears! We're off for a walk in a bit down to the pet shop and to pick up a paper, then a day indoors is planned so guess it's not too bad. Spent the whole day out yesterday shopping, got OH some new clothes which was nice, we've not been shopping for us for ages, dying to go shopping for me now
Oooh & on Friday, OHs aunt came over from Canada and brought us a massive bag of baby clothes from her grandson, loads of gorgeous stuff in there :j & loads of newborn, so even if baby isn't a giant we're sorted now, v pleased :j She brought us a baby Bjorn baby carrier too and a cosy toes thing for the car seat, and loads of new burp cloths & other bits & pieces, v exciting :j
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Esio- I find that Asda clothes are actually really good quality for how cheap they are. The sleepsuits and vests wash really well and are equally as soft and comfy as my next ones. As they get bigger too I find their trousers brilliant for DD £4 a pair and are excellent quality, also as she is a skinny ribs most of them come with a belt so perfect! I do find occassionally some of their long sleeve tops look a bit washed out after a while, but only if they are very bright colours. Other than that I love Asda clothes. HTH.
ETA: Gymfiend- I found Tesco baby clothes to be brilliant, wash fine but their bigger kids stuff is really hit and miss. Some is fine and washes as well as Asda/ Next then some stuff looks really faded and cheap after only a few washes. They do come up fairly big (for boys stuff) and a bit too wide for my DD iyswim.0 -
Kindof i have loads of maternity clothes thanks to a mate at work his daughter works for peacocks and she got a 40% off voucher plus it was sale time i had about £200 worth of clothes for £60. I thought sod it ive never been able to afford a decent set of mat clothes before and i am getting double the wear out of them being preggers again now :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Gym - thanks for the labour vibes, am more than happy to take them now. Lots back at ya too
Food was fab, even if I had to have my steak well done
am normally a med/rare girl but with the sauce it was fine.
Xmas - thats a fab bargain all those clothes, I love Peacocks mat stuff and will def make them my first port of call if am lucky enough to ever get pg again
Feeling really restless atm, wonder if thats the tiredness? Dont know what to do with my self, getting a few aches ad pains oh and have wind and a touch of indegestionOH is still tucked up in bed and am annoyed at him cos am jelous! I want to be doing stuff but my pelvis seems to get worse each day, cant wait till I can just go out for a walk again.
