    he's a leg thwacker against the wooden sides and the neighbours thought we were doing DIY in the middle of the night! The slightly springy sides of the travel cot buffer it a bit :)

    My back is getting a bit of a strain though with lifting him in and out for naps etc...

    Aaaah right:rotfl:

    Kai has his daytime naps in the travel cot downstairs and I commented that there is no way I will be ble to bend in enough to pick him up in a few months time:cool:

    btw Em I checked back the day you started back to work to see how it went but I'm terribly guilty of just reading without posting! For example Buttons posts always have me in stitches but I never say anything? And I'm always checking for peoples news but never ask after or congratulate anyone??? I'm obviously just a complete weirdo some kind of poster/lurker half breed!!
    :rotfl::rotfl:
    i didnt post that day as i was completely irrationally expecting someone to remember and when they didnt i had a inward strop :rotfl: being logical about it though, i probably only really remembered MFD and mooki because it was something i was doing a week later, and both ladies had stepped back from the thread a bit to spend time with their wee ones, so it was a silly assumption for me to make that someone would remember! plus i was feeling emotional about going back so i took the silence to heart, whereas i normally wouldnt have noticed!

    Further confession: I poke the dog if hes in a deep sleep, and my OH when he breathes really shallow and I can't work out if hes still breathing.
    If my DD isn't awake before 11am at the weekends, I'm in checking shes still alive too.
    I quite clearly have issues!!!!!!!!!
    i dont think you have anything to worry about issues wise - i've just realised i do this for my cats and not my child :eek::o:rotfl::undecided

To which, I replied, 'That's OK. We are going to sling meet' - his face dropped cos I think he thought I was hime Friday :rotfl:

    Aww Em, Seth and Granny both look like they are having a lovely time.

    If it makes you feel any better about the 82nd Bday, my Granny is 97 and still going very strong. She was very excited to hold her first Great Grandchild when Henry was born.

    OH has come home from his first full day back at work and gone straight to sleep- for 2.5 hours so far. So much for recovering c-section Mummy resting.....
