  • SS, Sorry to hear the lack of communication in the hospital... Fingers crossed they can sort him out this afternoon!

Elle, Aimee has an advent calendar but we don't... I'll wait until next week when a) they're cheap and b) I'll be able to eat a weeks worth of chocolates in one go ;)

    hi elle,

We haven't got advent calendars, but we read a book called the christmas mystery by Jostein Gaardner to each other each evening of advent. I'm looking forward to it. As a BF lady though, I'm glad you're going to get daily chocolate!

Is it the usual with the nurses, or sommat different?

SS, that is sad :( I hope fergie likes books...

Thanks Weezl :) I shall get hubby to pop to Asda for canned apple on his way home... We bought a kg of yoghurt in Lidl yesterday but it really does need something adding to it... What do you freeze it in now? ;)
little food saver pots, tesco value do 4 for 74p I think, the lids are really good and don't come off when you don't want them to. We also have asda ones for 25p also good, and v good for transporting bits of formula powder around, not that you need that!:rotfl:If it's the Lidl yoghurt I had, it's quite sharp so maybe some banana too to counteract the acidity?

If BF is the excuse this year, what's been the excuse for the other seven years since I've been an adult? ;)

Usual this morning - weighing (:)) and jab (:().

Heck, no advent calendars yet! Will have to put that right. Off to Bury shopping today as it's an easy train&tram journey.

Andrew is now sleeping less between feeds but, as he's not yet grasping things, he can't really entertain himself vert well, so we end up just cuddling (and typing on laptop one-handed). I kinda feel like I should be stimulating him more?

Do you give us all different voices?

I'm just in and out doing little jobs while waiting for Molly to wake up. I'm throwing away an inexplicable collection of broken lighters and tiny matchboxes from bars plus a bunch of old papers, laundry's in and I'm packing up gifts for my new niece (and a bath ballistic for my SIL) and my friend in the US whose baby's due right after Weezl 2.0. Need to send a letter to my great aunt and also buy a CD holder so I can give my duplicate Poirot DVDs to my mother as well as these gifts for my nephews. I just saw a great Grabbit but they're sold out already - Meccano interactive robots.

re: potential new babies, is it really bad that I thought, 'ooooooh If I have the same gap again I can be PG with Sami and Kristal again'? :o
New babies? What have I missed?

Susan, I was going to post this yesterday, but I didn't know if you'd see it cos I know you don't come on on a sunday. I'm ever so sorry but due to a mix up between me and my mum about who was going to the post office, I discovered the parcel with alice's pillowcase in it whilst tidying yesterday.:(:o. Really hope you haven't been fuming with the postie each morning. I think I can get there on tues after fergie's Drs appointment. Sorry again....
No worries. I'd just been wondering if I should say something in case you sent it ages ago and then it got lost in the post and you just thought I was rude because Ihadn't said thank you but I was worried that if I did and you hadn't posted it that it would sound like I was being impatient.

If I don't have time to read through, I usually search the thread for "Susan" so as long as you say Susan then I'll see it whenever you post.

  • Susan, I mentioned last night that hubby and I have decided we'll try for another baby in about January 2011... Sami is going to try and convince her hubby that a number 3 would be good at about the same time too...
