With the elder 2 though its like having an extra 2 sets of hands they're more help than work, I be sorry to see them going back to school on Monday. We've had a really fab chilled weekend, watching movies (instead of football and golf) pigging out on KFC and putting up the tree. We're all in the christmas spirit here :j
  • Morning all

Got a bit if a lie in this morning - Izzy woke up at half six, so I took her into bed with me, and we both woke up at 8:30. Luxury!

DH has gone off to the allotment with my Dad, and I have the most energetic baby in the world EVER to contend with on my own. I need to get her food ready for later (we are off to the in laws soon), and it would be nice to get dressed and brush my hair before we go out too. but I have to keep stopping her from trying to hit the tv with things. She now knows she is not meant to - keeps looking round to me with a cheeky grin before she does it, so will have to persist and eventually she might do what she is told. Maybe!

I've not caught up from last night, just the last page, but I hope you are all ok, and have fun in your boot sales :)

Tigs, I used to get defensive about people saying the boys were small, but I still end up saying it to other people!

I think that babies just don't stay small for all that long and people see really tiny ones and it just makes them go gooey and squeeeee!

    Loving the cow print btw!

    Morning everyone!

    Morning all :D

Rhys didn't want to go to sleep last night. Nothing wrong with him, he just didn't want to shut up, was "talking" to his elephant and just didn't want to stop! I left him to it by half two... Was awake at half ten this morning :)

.. Hes actually bought me a diamond ring for birthday next month but its not an engagement one..

Pretty ring! :D We're skipping all the engagement and wedding stuff and just having wedding rings for Christmas! ;)
Yes, it was the first time my Nan (his sole great-grandparent) had seen Andrew, and she loved him - but even she came out with the usual "I knew he was small but didn't realise just how small!" I'm getting fed up of hearing it! Andrew's just pint-sized, that's all, babies used to be this small many years ago! I think he's going to be spoiled rotten by his grandparents :D

We still get that.. It's "Aww, isn't he tiny!".. "NO! He's massive!" - usually works! :p There's usually someone around who also saw him in hospital when he really was little too which helps.

ETA: Hurrah for cow print!! :D Benjamin had the same one and I think a couple of others did too... Seth, maybe?

.. Edit: My fairies have two Tshirts for Daddies, one light blue saying "Qualified Superdad" the other black saying "When the going gets tough, call dad".

OH has those! Mum bought him them when they first came out for Father's Day and Rhys was still in hospital :)

:grouphug: to everyone else ;) xx

No plans for this afternoon here but I'm going out for tea with my (stressed out, work) friend tonight. It's her birthday next week so I'm hoping to get some ideas from her! Writting her resignation letter from work might be the most ideal thing for her but probably not best in the long run! :p

Eeeeeeeeeeeee Tigs, look at his FEET! He's going to be so tall!

I'm Christmas obsessed over here. So excited! I'm meal planning Christmas Eve, Day and Boxing Day and making lists of what food we already have and what we need. Later on I'm taking my friends out to the big Christmas market and I'll see if I can find suitable gifts for my nephews. My new niece is probably getting something out of the gift bag (stuff that doesn't fit Molly and is new, I am an unashamed regifter but careful to make sure that whatever gets regifted goes to someone who doesn't know the original gifter).

Edit: elle, just because you write a resignation letter doesn't mean you have to send it :)

That's alot of stuff done SM!
I've got up, changed a nappy, brushed my teeth, feed my virtual fish and well watched TV while feeding Ed :p

It's freezing in here though even after I put the heating on and OH is at work AGAIN  I know it's nice to have lots of money but we do ok on his basic and frankly I'd rather actually see my husband in daylight once in a while! :(
plus the longer I'm alone the closer I get to buying expensive things to cheer myself up!
