Yes I did thanks! OH was meant to send it recorded delivery but forgot though, so hope it arrived ok! How are you and Kieren?
It's a lovely ring btw. And lucky you for booking a holiday! I can't decide whether to go away for a week next year or see if I can afford an extra month off work. Both are very tempting!!0 -

I sent mine in the normal post and all was fine so should be ok. We are doing great although jags on Wednesday and not looking forward to it
OH never usually as generous but its a 'special' birthday this year!
We got a bargain deal on our holiday or I don't think it would be happening, I'm back to work end of May, trying not to think about it but am only doing 3 days a week so hopefully won't be too bad :rolleyes:0 -

morning all,
Dark cold day here in Wales, after a very disturbed night with fergie. We think it's his excema that wakes him. Can't understand how he does so much cheek damage even with socks on his hands!
Today's plan- more christmas decorating, washing all the bedding, 4 loaves of bread baking, hoover everywhere, asda and costco trip, bleach & scrub travel cot mattress, de mould the wall in back bedroom.
phewee!

Now wondering if you are older or younger than me!! Guessing it's the big 3-0. I spent my 30th in a police station in London after being robbed!! I won't forget it anyway.
I think I am probably back to work end of June so thought about a week away in May. At least I don't have to pay school holiday prices yet!
Good luck with the jags (there it is again Glam!!). Holly screamed but was fine after. Got second lot a week on Monday though. At least we still have the paracetamol from the last lot.
Morning Weezl, MM and everone else btw. Typing one handed as usual.
ETA - Sugar, how is husband today??0 -
You know, that was the single best thing in the world, Amber was held aloft for me to see and she belted out a scream! I cried and instantly fell in love with her at that point. DS1 was resuscitated at birth too so he never cried till a few days old. I'm crying now thinking about it
I really, really hope you get to experience that, it made all the worry worthwhile.
You will mull it over and you will constantly worry and freak at every little twinge, but when it's all over, I just know that having Amber has kind of made up for everything else, wiped the slate clean almost. A 'cleansing experience'
Thanks for posting that tia, I found it really moving. I'm really glad that amber coming has wiped your slate clean. What a fantastic way to begin a relationship with your lovely daughteri feel a bit rubbish today, seth didnt wake up til 8.10am and i had to leave to take him to the cm's at 8.35 so i only had time to change his stinky butt and get him dressed before bundling him into his buggy and going, didnt even get to give him his breakfastthen when i got to the cm's he got all happy and kicky and shouty like he does when he's excited, and then when i went to pick him up he was fast asleep on the cm's lap, having a cuddle
i waited 25 mins til we decided enough was enough and we woke him up, and he looked up at her grinning, then he cried when she passed him to me! she said "i really should have put him in his coat and rocked him off in the buggy, but i was selfish and wanted a cuddle!" he refuses flatly to go to sleep on either me or his dad, when we try he wriggles and squinnies, whats so special about her?! then he was so shattered when we got in that i had to put him straight to bed. i've spent less than an hour with him today. lush.
Aw Em, sorry it was like this on FridayWorking mums have many dilemmas and painful bits as they struggle to earn money to provide for their babies. I really admire what you're doing and I hope that seth gives you some more cuddles as a reward for a hard-working mummy too!
mm, I'll be over later, make me a list :rotfl:. Did I miss you saying the outcome of the sale yesterday:o?

Morning all!
 at puke talk overnight and hurrah for shiny jewellery, holidays, new nieces (I quite like Haf as a name) and proposals.
:grouphug: for anyone I missed because I read this a while ago and got distracted. I'm being a Super Geek today. I've made myself an advent calendar of sorts, but it is in fact a To Do list with one item for every day over Advent. I've just remembered that I'll need to tell the cleaner not to come over the holiday period - she's due to come I think on New Years and that's just not going to work.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
