tia, i like to allow DS 25 mins-ish to get ready at the mo cos otherwise he rushes his brekkie and ends up leaving some!

We have to be out of the house by 8:30am, earlier if it's gonna be icy, to get to school for 8:50am! I suppose i didn't really think i could 'force' lo into a routine, by waking her up at certain times etc, but i'm gonna have to aren't i, for my own sanity!!

MFD lol :D I better get my radio wired in then i don't have it in at the mo hehe

Can confirm the radio trick works, I also find revving the engine can stop crying also.

Hi everyone, im away to catch up on the last few pages and see what you have all been up to today. Im shattered, finally sitting down with a glass of chilled wine ( a rare treat) Husband has gone on an alcoholic drinking session from yesterday morning, so although im tired from minding the kids while working today, Im also really enjoying the peace and quiet.

Hope everyone else is having a nice weekend.
If baby is crying in the car crank the radio up really loud for a few seconds - shocks them into quietness ;):D

    Sounds cruel but works.

We are having another difficult Saturday night in MFD towers, despite falling asleep on daddy before I have just had an hour of Benjamin screaming at me before I gave up and just dumped him in his cot :o

He is still awake, playing in his cot, not crying for the moment.

We don't have this on any other night but Saturdays are getting worse. I think it might be because DSS is here...

Beanie, when you don't have much of a choice, they do tend to accept a bit of routine.

And getting the car to the biting point and dropping it to make the car rock works too :D

On our return we found that mice have clearly got in through the gaps at the back door and had been scavenging the highchair crumbs
 We had a mouse incident on holiday when Alice was 13 months. I was so glad we had a tent style travel cot for Alice because it meant I knew the mouse couldn't get her in the night.

Afternoon all,What times do people feed their little ones and what times do they nap etc then I can compare with mine and see if I can improve?!
There isn't a best way so if what you are doing is working for you than I wouldn't worry about what other people are doing.

Random question.. When you've ordered something online and it's arrived and all fine, how long do you keep the order confirmation email for? I have tonnes but I've never needed them. Should I just get rid once the item arrives, or can anyone think of a reason to keep the confirmation?
I just stick them in folder called "OrdersBillsReceipts" and then every so often go through them. When I go through I only keep ones which are for bigger things (e.g. freezer) or which are from a place I might want to buy from again (because it is a way of keeping a record of them). Otherwise they just get deleted as long as I have received the item and there are no problems.
Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.
