Thanks SM & 3, i'm quite lucky really in that he breaks up from school on the 18th or something, so i've got a few weeks to suss her out before he goes back to school - i hadn't really thought about that til now!!0

Dontcha just hate glitter!
I was looking at the pics on Facebook earlier - Zoes hair is gorgeous! Do the curls drive you insane?
SB Shouldn't you be doing something grown up and exciting on an child free evening?:beer:0 -
I've just gone insane: MSE won't let PMs be longer than 5000 characters and they make you wait 60 seconds inbetween each one.
Now I'm off to see if I can catch up since yesterday before OH gets home today...Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I have a question! (just for a change!)
Is it going to be as torturous as i'm anticipating to ensure baby is fed and content just as we need to be out of the door to get DS to school on time on a morning?! I am worried that she'll be feeding when it's time to go and i'll have to take her off the booby to get to school on time and starving her!! How does/did everyone else manage with this?!
When do you have to leave the house and how long does it take to get DS ready?
When BF...
7am feed Amber in bed
7.45am give boys breakfast then go get myself and Amber dressed.
8.15am get boys dressed, bags packed etc.
8.40am make up on
8.55am leave the house.
Now when bottle feeding its almost the same but Amber and I get dressed before she gets fed.
Just plan your morning in advance, lay out clothes, pack bags even set up the breakfast things the night before. The lo will get used to feeding at a certain time and waiting you just have to not stress about it, if lo is crying in the car, ignore it. I know they say to feed on demand but real life needs a look in too. You will get used to knowing how long the lo takes for a feed and know when to feed even if it means waking them up. I have to wake Amber up at 2.30pm if she hasn't had a feed because I know that is the latest I can feed her and get DS1 on time.0 -

If baby is crying in the car crank the radio up really loud for a few seconds - shocks them into quietness
Sounds cruel but works.
We are having another difficult Saturday night in MFD towers, despite falling asleep on daddy before I have just had an hour of Benjamin screaming at me before I gave up and just dumped him in his cot
He is still awake, playing in his cot, not crying for the moment.
We don't have this on any other night but Saturdays are getting worse. I think it might be because DSS is here...please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Strange MFD - is his routine messed up when DSS is there?
I'm normally screaming and crying at bedime on a Sunday night  but i'm ok with Saturdays!
After being led to believe that everyone was healthy again after a sick free night and day - Violet brought her tea back up in an exorcist style! I'm really fed up with cleaning up sick and poop now!:beer:0
