Thankyou all for your replies! I'm sorry it's taken me this long to get back to you all but he woke from his nap just after i posted and started grizzling so i took him over to my friends house and stayed there for a while so i wasn't just feeling rubbish on my own!
Elle: He'll happily take expressed milk at any time, even now i reckon but i need him to feed from me to help clear the mastitis, i can't pump much off that boob otherwise, it's never responded as well to the pump. My left boob however goes off like a fountain!
MFD: I have tried different positions but they don't seem to have helped, I can't do lying down because of his reflux, it tends to result in us both being covered in sick! I know its ok to just feed from one but I just want to keep trying with him on both because i just feel better having a "backup" boob for the times when he needs more than one boobful if you know what i mean?
Tia: I have been trying to express from the right but i don't get a lot
Emlou: I am tempted to stop or just maybe give one formula feed a day to give myself a break from this, it does feel like it's ruining something which should be lovely but i'm so stubborn that I am finding it hard to admit defeat...which is a stupid thing considering i was fully behind a good friend who had loads of trouble breastfeeding and then gave up, and was then free to just enjoy her son. Aarrghh...
csh: He does actually have reflux but we're on medication for it which seems to keep him pain free for everything now so i don't think it is that, i did wonder the same thing and had upped his medication slightly(we have been given a range of dosage we can use from the paediatrician) but it doesn't seem to help so i am fairly sure it's not a pin thing. I had heard of ear infections causing feeding problems, maybe i should try him on some calpol a while before a feed tomorrow and see if that helps?
Fritha/Sugar: I did wonder if it was Thrush, but i can't see white spots in his mouth, maybe i don't really know what i'm looking for, the doctor didn't mention thrush but i won't be ruling it out. Maybe worth me googling some images so i know what i'm actually looking for.
By the way I'd not thought of fleecy sleepsuits at all till this thread but Austin wiggles around at night until he is out of the covers and then he'll sleep but he has nothing on him but the sleepsuit and a vest, surely he'll get cold? But he won't stay under the covers for love nor money!
Glam: Yay for Jacks sleeping! Thats about when Austin started sleeping through so i hope he carries on for you! it does sounds like a growth spurt with all the feeding and sleeping but he's just stretching his tum so he can sleep longer for you every night!
g-i-s-i: I still wear a nursing bra in bed, just because I like the support but i would love to find a nursing support vest that held them well....any suggestions from anyone? Oh and well done Henry, 9lb is amazing, Austins only 12lb 9oz and he's 16 weeks on Friday!
Sami: i don;t think it's wind because i have tried stopping and burping him but if i do that he screams himself hoarse until i put him back on, and if he cries too much after/during a feed then he makes himself sick because of the reflux
Searching: Now i want that water playmat thing, i blame you!!
Thankyou for the support, and thanks to anyone who sent hugs that i forgot to reply to!

Evening all... I hope you're all ok. I haven't read back further than this page, so "eep" to SM.
Re highchairs, we had one, but took it to my parents, as we never eat at the table (we have one in the corner, but it requires moving furniture and whatnot to get it out and open, so it's a special occasions only jobby), and it's the wrong height if you're not sat up at a table with her. Seeing as my Mum has her once a week, and we tend to be there for at least one extra day too, it makes sense to have one there.
We did use a not-a-bumbo, with a built in table, but she is too big for it now (still fits in, but doesn't seem to be comfortable in it any longer, and she can get out by herself, so she doesn't stay in for long!), so we're using a kids chair and the middle sized table from our nest of tables. Will probably buy a proper matching set at some point, as they will do for doing colouring and what not when she is bigger too!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Hypno, did you see the link I put in earlier for nursing vests from Mothercare?
I think they're the cheapest ones (£12) but there were some from a website Sami bought a dress from the other day for £35-ish

Hey all,
Am nice to hear from you and glad you are well!
Hypno - no help I'm afraid, but hugs!
We've had a rather sleepy day here, but without the grumps and fights beforehand. He's even gone off to sleep on his own, whilst I've not been in the room., Fingers crossed this is progress.0 -
Oh, I've just remembered:
Elle - Sainsburys have cow print vests instore. They are very cute!0 -
have you ever tried feeding a child in a walker?? it takes forever cos they bob around, even if you put your put on it as a brake the food still gets everywhere! lol! i give him finger food in the walker cos he is still small in the highchair and drops things down under the tray and onto the floor, but food involving a spoon is just way too much effort in a walker!Mummy to
