ive not tried jayden on banana custard ........ maybe coz i dont like it :undecided x

OH fed him it, I didn't like the smell - probably because I like neither bananas or custard! :p

It's all very odd. The dietitian emailed me yesterday with a list of can/cannots for jars and banana custard was on there (it was one I'd already bought because it's not something I'd make). Odd, because it's 50% cows milk plus bananas, both of which she said he couldn't have because of the potassium content! One of her colleagues has been writing to all the baby food companies to find out which jars are high in calories but low in potassium.
i think you should all move closer to me and elle :D :rotfl: x
no its nicer over here sami :D x

You've not been to Grimsby, have you SM? :p:o
No, to be fair, I don't have that many complaints about Gy. Would just be nicer to be somewhere more central, Birmingham-ish way. Can't see us ever moving though - even if OH got an amazing job elsewhere I'd make him travel! :p

Might have to take a rain check on tomorrow :( He's off with Daddy now, spent the last ten minutes sobbing real tears on my shoulder but wouldn't sleep, then crashed out straight away on Daddy!

that's a point - what does a CM normally provide re: snacks etc. also if there was an outing planned would I be asked to cover the cost? Neither is a problem I'm just wondering what the norm;) is (although I bet everyone comes back with different answers :rotfl:)
mine provides food for the older ones and yoghurts and snacks for seth, but i take jars, and she gives him half for lunch and half for dinner. i think she would provide jars for him but when he was settling in i took homemade food for him and she said she would rather i did that, i think she thought i wanted him to have homemade food!
she takes them on trips, like to the farm and things, but where she only has him mondays and fridays she is more likely to take the other kids on a day when he isnt there, cos he is a bit little really. she did say that she doesnt charge extra though.

Btw, I think Bounty is spying on me! A few weeks ago, I got an email from them just as I was feeling tired with "Coping with dark circles" in the subject, and today I've got "Caring for a sick baby"!

Pocklington, where my sister lives, is nice. Between Beverley and York :)

That reminds me, I took a really odd route to my sister's house last time and I've been meaning to look it up ever since. I think I went via Beverley which is a completely different direction to where I was suppose to be going! :o
