I won two bottles of Veuve in a raffle at work (booby charity yay) last week; but I bartered them away for 5 bottles of red wine instead! As we drink lots of red here but very little champagne, and I have about 8 bottles of champagne already in a little rack because for a while at work they kept giving them to talented people ;p and they built up!

    Morning all!
  • Morning all...

We were up for 2 hours in the night, so Izzy is still sleeping. Good thing it is Granny Day, not Nursery Day today - I can just leave her till she is ready! Just need to make sure my mum knows the instructions for making ready brek if I've not done that by the time she arrives! If I'd known I would have turned the alarm clock off - I'm all ready now, so can get abit of internet time in :)

(well, I could get on with the washing up, but shhhhh)

  • We have some really bad sparkling wine my parents brought us back from their holiday in france. It is rank though - only fit for making bucks fizz with or adding to punch or something.

We didn't have champagne at our wedding, as DH doesn't like it, we had mead instead. Yummy. I think it would have been better if I just had an orange juice though. I might have memories of more of my wedding reception that way. :o

Been up and down in the night as well. Not sure what to do, Henry very warm last night, breathing quite rapidly, got a mass of snot coming from his nose, still coughing and grumpy....Another child in his class at nursery has swine flu so dont know whether to try and get him checked out today by doctors....
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
  • Maz - I've been putting olbas oil on Izzys grow bag which is helping the snotty brearthing at night. Have you given him calpol for the fever? I'd take him off to the doctor if it was me - always better to go than to sit at home worrying :)

Finally have an awake baby here - she woke up as granny arrived, and now doesn't want to play with me as granny is here.
