    I have a question...

I made a sausage casserole a couple of weeks ago and froze half... I got the frozen box out of the freezer on Friday afternoon intending to have it for tea but thought better of it and put it in the fridge to defrost over night and have Saturday... We ended up having something else Saturday night and went out to dinner yesterday and the sausage casserole is still in the fridge...

Is it safe to have tonight or should I just give up on it?

    hi everyone!!

awful weather here again today!! luckily i made it to the shops and back before it rained too heavily...

got letter from gp saying that they have had to cancel Kian's next jabs appointment  so got to phone and make another one.

DH has another 2 weeks off work and gp is sending him for bereavement counselling as well as the tablets. he is starting to tell me now what is on his mind, which is good. part of it is, he keeps thinking something might happen me and what he would do if something did :( or if something happened kian, but he has said that when he has the thought that he rememberss how lucky he is to have me and kian and all the good things in his life.

    SS- hope hubby is better

Feelie- hope you are feeling lots better

looking forward to meeting peeps tomorrow!! does anyone want my moby number just in case?

    Hi all,
Just went to the barber's and they had Christmas decorations up! Was particularly surprising I thought as it's a little old Italian elderly people type hairdresser, with no signs or anything.

tricky to explain, but will post a piccie when done too:

MM sent me some lovely snowman fabric, so I've cut it into 5 inch squares and backed it with sky blue ikea fleece to make a little light cushion. Each of these will dangle down from a ribbon length, forming a sort of interactive squidgy garland/bunting...

    IYSWIM? :confused::rotfl:

Krystal, I might eat it myself but I wouldn't give any to Aimee (or Dave from what you've said about his delicate tum :))
but I think really it should be thrown away

I'd eat it Krystal! Based on nothing but instinct, though.

Yeah that's what I was thinking Sami... <sigh> Just wanted to check I wasn't being over cautious... A friend of mine will eat food that's been in her fridge a week

Lol, eta... That friend's probably Bruno ;)

    have you sniffed it kristal?

There's evidence that pg and bf women have a heightened sense of smell maybe to prevent possible food poisoning. I would eat it though as 4 days in the fridge is an ok length of time to me :)

Jillie - I think Glam would be the best person to swap numbers with, coz she is always nicely organised and on time (unlike moi!) :)

Bruno - sounds like a lovely little place though!
I wash watching the hairdresser down the road try to put decs up in the window when I was tuck in traffic but she kept dropping things and then spotted me sat in the car giggling at her :D:o

Weezl - I think that sounds funky :)

I've not sniffed it Weezl... I have a wierd sense of smell... If I think something is off, it will smell off even if it's fine... Like I convince myself it's off... If I sniff it, I'll probably end up binning it anyway...
