    I do hope you aren't going to put any decs up before the 1st December!!!!

    Can you beleive I've seen almost 10 decorated houses already :eek: It's NOT f-ing Christmas yet!! :mad:

    :whistle::D
    We're having to avoid Beamish at the moment because their Christmas started on 14th and I don't want Christmazas to start until December.

    Tia - why did you sell that sling on a private auction? I've never understood the point of private auctions :o
    I wish everyone did private auctions. My mum stalks my eBay account to see what I've been buying. I'm seriously considering creating a new account for buying and just keeping the current one for selling until I've built up a decent amount of feedback. It really annoys me and I keep telling her not to look at what I've been buying but she still does it.

    Morning all!

    Careful hugs for all sick mummies and daddies and littlies. My sick one (the big one) is terribly worried because (deep breath) one of the main causes of pancreatitis is alcoholism, and although he isn't an alcoholic he has drunk quite heavily at different times in the past and he has a slightly enlarged liver. His doctor's been monitoring him for DTs and found nothing, and he's had not so much as a drop of alcohol in six weeks without there being any sign of withdrawal, but Doctor has written "alcoholism" in his medical notes nonetheless. This is a serious problem because Husband has a pilot's licence, which he will lose if the authorities think he has an alcohol problem. Not to mention that his insurance premiums will go up, once he has insurance, and anything liver-related will not be covered should he have a problem in the future.

    Other than that, I hope everyone's ok. Very jealous of MFD and her glamorous lifestyle, and very impressed with Mr Weezl's "no pregnant women up ladders" rule. Husband had similar rules during my pregnancy because I was constantly trying to get to high shelves to declutter, dust and generally nest on them.

    Molly, the miscreant, has gone back to sleep after a 4-hour playtime at 6am followed by an epic puke on her clean shirt. After she wakes and feeds we're going to load her into the BB and take a stroll to see if we can find my mum a nice cabin sized trundly bag, pick up some groceries and then home.

    Oh, and I bought The Sims Kingdom for the Wii from Zavvi this morning at 80% off with Quidco too. The Oceans trilogy may also have accidentally fallen into my basket.

    Edit: those are lovely, Claire!

    A friend of mine has just sent me an invitation to view the Picasa album of a friend of hers, suggesting I might like to buy some of this friend's (hideous) handmade jewellery. !!!!!!?!?!?! It's bad enough that strangers spam me without people I know doing it too!

    Yup :D

    It was when I sold my doppler the buyer asked if I would change it to a private auction as she didn't want people to know she was pregnant, never bothered changing it back.

    How bizarre! Why does she look? Does she see it as an easy way to catch up with your life?

    SS poor you and hubby :( FWIW I think disclosure of medical records is only ever on a need to know basis, and you can ask for yours to be amended. Example, if Hubby challenged how a diagnosis of alcoholism had been arrived at they would probably remove it, since one of the chief criteria is whether the patient believes they have an adiction. HTH :)
