Sorry, was trying to get Rhys off to sleep.. and failing  Nothing wrong with him, not crying, just doesn't want to lie down and go to sleep.. obviously I've done the best thing and dispatched him to Daddy! :p:o

Will have a think on your sister's present... What about a girly lunch out somewhere or a pampering type day? (wouldn't it be a shame if you found one on 2-4-1 and you had to go too? ;))

Where would I get Ben10 items from? That's what OH's godsons are into atm. We got this and this for their christening presents and I want to get them this to keep the theme going (plus I think they're awesome and would love to get/receive them for Rhys too! :o), but was some small Ben10 things too so they have something long-lasting and something current, iyswim. They're 2 and 4 :)

elle, my DS likes Ben 10 too, but only cos his mates do - he doesn't even bother watching it :rotfl:

Anyway, some cheapish items i've come across are

Ben 10 Deluxe Omnitrix half price (for the 4 yr old)
Ben 10 backpack half price (for either!)
Ben 10 Glitter Lamp (for either!)

Or Asda have things like clock sets, toothbrush sets or breakfast sets for £5 all in Ben 10 theme, i saw them in the Xmas aisle last time i was in!

ALERT - OH has just spotted the Knitted Character out of Harry Hill's TV Burp!!!! :j Every week we moan we never see it and it was on Ant & Dec's table!!!

I never manage to spot this so well done
I can do you white chocolate buttons, or Cad DM with apricot & biscuit?
Alternatively, we have flumps, fizzy lollies, shrimps, strawberry laces, blackjacks, fruitsalads, white mice, wham bars, pink pigs, ............. Marley got a variety box from "A Quarter Of" for his birthday and we're still munching our way through it :D

I'm coming just for the flumps!!

Me and OH escaped to pub last night for a couple of hours (first time in about 3 months!) but apparentlt LO was a real pain for my mum and wouldnt go to bed til 10.30 only after my dad came and read him a story. Mum said he didnt want to be near her even though he's been asking for her all day.... right off to make Yorkshire puddings as mum, dad, Brother and SIL coming for dinner today.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

Anyone else unreasonably irritated by the so-called "theme tune" to Pablo the Little Red Fox?? It consists solely of a few tuneless imps saying "Run Pablo run in the wind and the rain and the sun" about 12 times, in exactly the same way. Curse you, tuneless imps!

(apologies in advance to anyone whose adorable moppet or related moppet was involved in recording said theme tune )

    Tuesday morning! 1st-class Eurostar at 10am :D
Quite exciting, though I foresee huge stress with psycho baby also. He is not with the being restrained, and on trains, in nice hotels, and in unknown cities, there may be quite a lot of restraining to do...

How exciting - I am sure he will be fine. There will be so much to look at you may find that he will be happy to just sit and watch everything around him.

You will all have a great time ti is nice over there:)
