Do they phone you constantly too? :o They must phone me at least twice a week. I just hang up on them most of the time.. I haven't got the time or patience to listen to them asking me if I'm okay and if I need any help (errr no!)

Yes!! I only realised it wasn't working just after I'd fobbed off "Micheal" (his name is blatantly sanjeev or some thing lol)

Personalised tags? Ohhh... off to look :D
yeah I made some with our caricatures on but the sticky label ones you get something like 140 and the cardboard ones 25, I'm sending more than 25 but much less than 140 presents!! but they won't 'work' next year coz Ed is a baby on them:rolleyes:
I'm really on the verge of making no effort at all for OH's family for Christmas  They barely bothered with OH's birthday, haven't paid him the petrol money they promised for him visiting their houses whilst they were away in September (ten round trips, over an hour each :o) and don't seem at all bothered about Rhys :(

I put so much effort into buying really apt presents for everyone and if I can't think of something suitable, I ask what they'd like. Don't understand why they can't do the same!

It's their lack of effort on all parts that gets to me, yet we're expected to jump whenever they say. I'm putting my foot firmly down from now on...

sod them honey! We did the same with evil ex-aunty she used to send us really crap presents so mum would just give her recycled or cheap smellies sets in the end (knowing she was a snobby designer brand user :p)

    ...and the baby sleeps :shhh:

I can honestly say we haven't had a night where Benjamin has still been up at 10.30 since he was a tiny dot. Definitely not since we put him in his own room at 12 weeks.

I am shattered and have a newfound respect for all mummies and daddies who have a baby who won't sleep.

I am having my hair cut tomorrow. Tempted to do something drastic! Although, having said that, if I get it cut into a style then I will need to a) style it! and b) get it cut more often!!
Maybe I will just get a few inches off!

Edit - the cake looks lovely Krystal

    Sami ;)

Elle - you bother with them on your OH's behalf. What does he think?

He wouldn't make as much effort as me. Three years ago, he was a "only shop on Christmas Eve" type which I think it outrageous! I don't think that shows any thought at all cos you're limited to "what's left". I'd have a huge [STRIKE]strop[/STRIKE] panic if I couldn't get exactly what I wanted for that person! :o

I can't remember a time when Rhys was in bed by 10.30pm.. :o He's currently lying on the floor near my feet on his play gym, wide awake..
  • I will try scruffy!! :D

Not sure if i can keep up with this one and the pregnancy club though both threads move so fast :rotfl:

Beautiful decorations Krystal! :D Now I understand what the foot cookie cutter was for.. :o Was that on the one that gave you the idea or did you think of that yourself? I only looked at the top tiles on the pic you showed us :)

    Everything set for tomorrow? :)
Hubby found a picture of a cake he liked with the feet on and I get a very breif glimpse of it but never found the actual one again... But it was a bit like what I've done...

Don't really have to do much for tomorrow apart from dress myself and the children and beautify myself... The cake is in the box ready to go under the pram... We're walking to church... I'm sick of relying on people for lifts and ending up late everywhere we go!

Thank you :D and I know!!

Mfd, enjoy your bit of peace now!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Yes we do have a house not signed for it yet as our solicitor is [STRIKE]stalling [/STRIKE] asking questions as he is unsure of a few things;) like we need to make sure our mortgage gets approved

    P.S The cake looks lovely
