  • I have an extra job to do this morning - put a child lock on the loo seat. She is obsessed with sticking her hands/head down the loo at the moment . I can't take my eyes off her for a second. Fridays are always housework day so I might have to bung a load of toys in her cot and buy myself 10 mins or so that way!

Morning, my bargain choccy pushchair is being delivered at 11! :T

I have a question for you knowledgeable people....

For the car seat that comes with this travel system, which car seat base do i need?? And does a car seat base allow for rear facing and forward facing?

    Morning all,

thanks to those who answered me yesterday: just checked my account, and a reference number and CHB has appeared next to the credit so it was child benefit after all! Still only half of what was due for backdating though: did this happen to anyone else? I hope I get the other half!

Edit - remembered that they pay for a month at a time - could it be that this was the payment for october, and that the one for november would come at the end of the month? I know nothing about these things :)

Is there such a thing as a loo seat lock? My baby also loves to play fishing in the toilet, or the dogs water bowl! :o

    Morning everyone

Beenie its a rear facing base - either mothercare's own or a graco one (they are the same) about £30 when I last looked

Its worth a look on freecycle/ebay for a base as they crop up all the time

I have bought a toilet seat lock - OH won't let me attach it, even though so far the nappy cream, a spoon, and the baby's hands have all made a journey into it :( he loves flapping the lid, and loves putting objects into containers and taking them out again...

She won't let me attach it because the other day she got so frustrated trying to undo the child lock on the washing machine cupboard that she broke the cupboard hinge :( which I still have to work out what to do about, she tore the hinge out of the wood so tis a bit of a mess.

I was going to get LO weighed today but as DH has the puschair in the boot of his car then it's a bit unlikely

Thanks Claire i was getting so confused with the different types, i still haven't figured out the difference between the one you linked to and this one

    http://www.mothercare.com/Graco-Logico-S-Base-Black/dp/B0013LPJ2Y/sr=1-2/qid=1258711369/ref=sr_1_2/279-5274338-2186707?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42764041&mcb=core

apart from the obvious price difference

How long do they stay rear facing for? I thought it was only a few months!

I'm always on freecycle and never seen a base, no fair :(
