    Morning Wizadora/Choppy and everyone else,

Just feeding Holly just now then need to try and get her back to sleep for half an hour whilst I shower and get ready. Got her jabs at 9.30 but want to try and get to pharmacy first to try and get some Calpol in. DH tried to get some yesterday but the pharmacist wouldn’t give it to him in the end as she is only 8 weeks old. He wrestled with is conscience and had it in his hand but changed his mind and suggested we get a script from docs. Sooo, going to try another pharmacy!

Hope everyone enjoys their meet today. How exciting for you all!

Well, my baby has been an angel today :A he has followed the EASY routine with no prompting at all! and rather than spend hours trying to get him off to sleep on his own, I popped him on my shoulder, lay on the bed and within 15mins he was flat out! :j

Yay!!! I hope you had a good night last night too Glam.

hmm I have £20 worth of consumer pulse points that I can swap for a voucher, one of the places is american golf, I was gonna get FIL those vouchers for Christmas, do I order those and risk them not arriving in time or just buy the vouchers for him and use my points for something else :undecided

I reckon risk ordering them. You've still got over 5 weeks til Xmas and I guess you'll be seeing FIL pretty near to Xmas so don't need to post them or anything to him? (but don't blame me if you take my advice and then they don't arrive in time :p)

quickly back on while OH sorting out dogs.
elle; habe a great time away - thats if u get packed!!? hehe
also - who is gonna be here tomorrow? everyonr seems to be going to have a RL and ive nothing to do!!???????

I'll be here. I've got a small RL tomorrow but not much. Meeting my NCT group this morning at 10:30 so will be out for a few hours at that but that is about it. I was thinking of popping to Morrisons afterwards as from today they have Ragu sauces on buy 1 get 2 free. However, it is pouring with rain so I may not bother!

DH is playing football after work tonight and then going out for a bite to eat, so I'll be on bedtime duty tonight with Caitlin (and on Thurs too!). Unfortunately, it won't give me much time to do his photo slideshow thing for his birthday as he reckons he'll be home by about 8:30pm. Caitlin goes to bed at 7pm and I'll still need my dinner after that.

Anyway, enough of my waffling...the short answer Carla is that I should be around today :D

oh rmac have you gone... if not do you know if it's easy to get to Corstorphine from leith? FIL gets the train/tram to his flat in ed'bgh so only public transport

Yep, its easy, not walkable tho. He'll need a bus, Corstorphine is on a straight Rd out leaving Princes St (main st in city centre) and theres lots of buses than run that way.
Not sure of any bus numbers but you can look here

    Morning Dora and Fitzio!

Have you managed to do your wee yet Dora? :D

Fitzio - if you go into Tesco, I think you can just buy the Calpol off the shelf so won't be asked any questions about Holly's age. I got mine with a Tesco delivery, so presume they just took it off the shelf for me.

Also, you can get liquid infant paracetamol which is apparently the same thing to Calpol but as it isn't Calpol-branded, it's far cheaper. I was only told this after I'd bought Calpol, so haven't looked into it any further than that, I'm afraid.

Hollie is two months in three days, so I wouldn't worry about giving it to her. Having said that, I worried with Caitlin as she was a couple of days under two months when she had her first set of jabs but then the ladies on her put me straight. I've only ever given Caitlin a 2.5ml dose too.

Morning! I prob won't be here long as my modem is knackered and keeps dropping connection. Have put off phoning to get it fixed as nonUK based call centre find it hard to understand the problem, need to build up some patience before I try again!

    Morning Csh.

Thanks Choppy. The HV said that we should get in Calpol or Infant Paracetamol and that as long as we tell the pharmacist it is for her jabs, they would prescribe it. If I can't get it, I will just buy the stuff to have in just in case, but would be better to get it for free!! We have a scheme here called "Minor Ailments" which means pharmacists can prescribe some things on the odd occasion to save going to doctors - do you have that down South?

Right best be off. Catch up with you later. Have a nice day. x

Yes - you can get supermarket or chemist branded medicines and tablets for most things. Saves a fortune :money:

Going to see the health visitor today for Charlotte's 2½ year development check. Got no worries about her and feel it's a bit of a waste of time going to be honest :o
Here I go again on my own....

Morning all.. *bleary eyed look* :o

Rhys woke me up for his bottle half an hour ago (to be fair, five hours after his last one :D) and now I'm up and dressed ready for the comms nurse arriving on her way into work to get Rhys' jab done. Rhys however is back in his crib, zonked out, so I don't know how he's going to take being woken up with a jab in his thigh! :(

Wrote a list of jobs to do this morning and told OH which ones he was doing. his jobs include making bacon buns :D Had best get on with my jobs.. roll on tonight when we can crash out properly!
