Benjamin has pizza! Not often and without topping but he eats the base and tomoato sauce and cheese - he loves it!!
Not sure what is wrong with that?
Anyway - our timing was a bit off for taking christmas photos because Benjamin cut is first tooth this afternoon :j well he has a little sharp nub!!
He is grumpy though so I best run!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

yay MFD no more gummy benjamin! but boo MFD's nipples!!
has anyone used baby pasta? i bought some today for the first time (i have been doing my own up to now but i cant seem to get the texture right when blending, either too smooth or too lumpy!!) the cooking instructions say to boil it and then mix with the food, but if i havent got a sieve with small holes, only a colander (SP) so if i do that the pasta will disappear!! will it work if i just mix it in with the food i'm making and simmer it or will it make it go all starchy? its the boots one i got if it makes any difference!Mummy to

em, do you have a big spoon with holes in? Or just use the lid to drain the pot? Or just use a spoon to spoon it out?
If you put it in with the food, just keep an eye that it doesn't get too dry.0 -
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the basic components of chicken nuggets and chips.. It's the fact they were from a pizza takeaway - I'm imagining wholesaler huge bag of nuggets containing barely any chicken... Did anyone else see that programme about chicken kievs on BBC3?! (I know it's probably me being an ill-informed snob... but..
) Sorry, I just have an aversion to anything from a takeaway that doesn't belong on the menu - omlette and chips from a chinese, etc
My computer's fixed. Dunno what was up with it but OH spent two minutes fixing it and half an hour playing about and "tidying it up", whatever that means!
Is it odd that I haven't started packing yet? We leave tomorrow lunchtime...Everything's ready, washed and in piles around the house.. Going to my parents later to fetch the coolbox and OH's birthday presents.

thats what i thought tia, a bit like lentils, but you know when you cook pasta and the white starchy foamy thing comes up? i didnt want that mixed in with the food! i cant use the pan lid cos its got special draining lips on it that the pasta will fall through, and i dont have a holey spoon... god i think i need some utensils lolMummy to
