    Morning all,

Is anyone around to share my joy? We had 9 hours solid sleep last night. I'm so proud of her. But I've got no-one to share it with.

It's too early to ring my parents - I'd worry them if they saw I was ringing at this time, and with no partner no-one else had the joy of the huge smiles I was treated to this morning. I can see this happening more and more as Kezia achieves more exciting things. Is it ok to share with you guys?

Amazing MM, on top of the world in fact. She is just starting to grizzle but I can cope with that. Going to play with her for a bit then have a walk to morrisons I think. The sun is shining and the sky is blue. Who could ask for more!

Hope you have a good day too and that you manage to get back to bed for a bit more sleep. How was your night out? did I miss the report - I did try to skim read but I'm also trying to do the dishwasher and clean the kitchen. And sort stuff for ebay.

Don't forget ebay is fee free today, if you want to make some money for xmas.

The MW at booby group said that the most common time for babies to be affected by jabs was around 10 days after - not sure if that fits?
I was quite surprised by that tho, I always thought it only made them grumpy for a couple of days or so right after having them.

5 days but could be a factor

mm - missed u but was too peed off to post

harley - fab news :j well done kezia

jack will be made to nap today so he's not overtired tonight - finally dropped off at 11.30pm, then woke at 4am & 8am - these times r now regular so hoping we are getting into a routine slowly. problem is i'm one of those non-routine kinda people so its hard for me!
    Anyone about ????
Well I have had quite a nice day, although I notice none of you missed me :(
Went a walk into town earlier to get a few things and came home just in time for dinner when my mate texted to say we were to go over for a cuppa and watch x-factor, so me and Jasmine headed out and Chris and Dylan stayed here, and I only got home 20 mins ago !!
Anyway, hope you are all well, I will be heading to bed shortly, but need to get tired first, too much caffeine in my system :p so will be on for a little while :)

Glam - I was thinking about you in bed last night (oooh-er!). Will Jack nap in the day time if he is in your (or OH's arms)?

I know all babies are different, so this might be useless advice, but I find with Caitlin that the better she naps in the day time, the better she sleeps at night.

When we had our horrendous three nights earlier in the week, it was because she'd been out of her routine and in lots of new places so she barely slept in the day (she is nosey and obviously didn't want to miss out on anything! She went to bed fine but we were up about 15 times each night with her. On Wednesday we had quite a quiet day and I got her to sleep regularly in the day time and that was the turning point which seems to have led to the four decent nights we've just had.

However, the only way I've been able to get her to sleep in the day mainly is let her fall asleep or nearly asleep in my arms before putting her down. On Fri afternoon I was only able to put her down for as long as it took to wash my hair. After that she kept waking up and wouldn't settle unless I held her, so I propped myself up on the bed with her in my arms and browsed the internet.

I think you've got the Baby Whisperer book? Someone lent it to me in the early days. I read it and took a few things from it, but thinking about it now, Caitlin has fallen into the EASY routine by herself - food, activity then sleep.

This may not work at all for Jack, and you might have already given it a go, but I was just trying to think of ways that might help him sleep a bit better for you. Caitlin was a complete nightmare at the beginning (and still can be), so I know how tiring, stressful and upsetting it can be.

    xxxx

P.S. I bet you're going to come online in a little while and say that you've had the best night's sleep last night now :D
