 My computer was broken for two weeks and you've all talked for 215 pages! Anyone care to give me a recap on anything significant I've missed?

Mooki - if there are any aspects of your CM's care of Leila that you are unhappy with then you really should take the opportunity to sit down and discuss them with her.

....unless you really do think you are being petty?

Petty, no but overprotective and a bit emotional, yes!! The little niggly things include changing her clothes during the day for no reason, using her own nappies on her, brushing her hair, saying she loves her like her little boy,......... Okay, you win maybe a little petty but I want to be the one to do everything with her and it makes me sad that I cant be there. I know Leila has fun and the only sign she was a bit unsettled was runny poo for the first two days which she's never had before. But she's fine now and I know in my heart that this is the right CM for her.

If you think she should have called you then you just need to tell her to do so in the future....although what would you have done about it?

I would have probably left work but then by the time I got there she would have been fine anyway. I just hated the fact that I didnt have some super duper mummy instinct that let me know that she was hurt. It was the first day I didnt call to check on her too so I felt a little bad. I havent call since though but the CM does text me sometimes with updates and e-mails me photos.

Did you read her accident report?

Yes! The CM has an Ofsted inspection next week too, so I feel bad for her. But when I speak to the Ofsted inspector I will be singing her praises because she is a lovely lady and i'm glad she's Leila's CM:o

Glad Benjamin is having fun too xxxxxxx

My not so little girl is 9 today! i just cannot believe it!!! she was over the moon with her presents and all the girls are upstairs playing so its nice and quite. we have family coming tonight so that will be chaos!

Def must be something in the air this week! we are only just talking, there has been no affection or anything. i have been up with the kids this morning and trying to tidy up the house is a bombsite and the carpets were filthy from all the rain we have had. he has been disappearing all the time so i dont know what he is up to? Am so fed up of being the only one to get things done and sort things out. i hope you all manage to sort things out!!!

I think Trafford Centre is quite central, has parking, plenty of places to shop if we want to and we could grab food somewhere like F&B where they can put a load of tables together so we can all fit in!

I've heard the Christmas markets are good! Well, if Tuesdays and Thursdays are free then lets be :money:and pick one of those days! only today and next thurs... but if its a day when OH is working thats fine even if hels not working i can still get there.

BM - I'm planning on making cupcakes today but the main word there is 'planning'!!

I'm up for a meet anywhere (that I can get to by train!) and any day.

Feel a bit sad that OH said he doesn't want me back until I'm a bit better, he needs a break.

My dog is stoopid, I just gave him some of my stollen loaf (didn't fancy a proper dinner) anyway the marzipan got stuck to the top of his mouth :o so I had to stick my hand in and pull it out  so you'd think that when I tell him to go get a drink of water he'd go in the kitchen? Nope he ran round the table came to the other side of me and begged for some more loaf :rotfl:

    :rotfl:

That sounds like Bob. He was begging chilli peanuts from Craig, so he gave him some. He coughed and licked his lips for a couple of minutes, and then came back asking for more :D
Here I go again on my own....
