One example of non-potato waffles (what Elijah and I were just having for breakfast an hour ago - just buttered though)

Also, have you not heard of waffle houses? Big chain in the US, but also various "independents" around in the Uk and Europe...

    Morning Bruno .

How did Elijah sleep last night?

We had another good night from Caitlin - she woke up a few times but we didn't need to go into her, so she went all night without her dummy again. DH and I, on the otherhand, had an awful night's sleep and we don't know why. Oh well.

I think of waffles as the pancaky type things. I like them with maple syrup on

Off out this morning to do a couple of jobs with Charlotte and then back to potty training. Yesterday she had a Pop Party CD on and was dancing round the potty in a t-shirt, knickers and a santa hat, but never actually did a wee in it! She seems to be saving it up for when she has a nappy on for her nap or when we go out
Here I go again on my own....

I hate to keep moaning! But as you've asked
He was good til 4am, woke for 10 minutes or so there (didn't go in, but listened to his shouting til he ran out of steam and slept again), then woke at 5.15, thought he'd settle again but he didn't, and neither comforting nor BF worked so gave up and got up with him officially at about 6. Still don't really know what to do about it, just cannot keep having him wake between 5 and 5.30 for the day! (we did try a couple of days of pushing his supper as late as possible and his bedtime a bit later, didn't have any obvious effect though)

I am now subtly punishing him by saying "round and round" to him - each time I say it he stands on the spot and spins in circles til he falls over :p

Morning all.. I've actually been up since 7am but thought I'd best not post "good morning" right after "good night"! :p:o

Rhys went his longer sleep stint ever, 9.30pm to 5.30am then OH got up - don't why he chose to last night as he hasn't done a night feed for about two months (I do them so he can sleep through for work in the morning), but hey, I got to go back to sleep :) OH slept the rest of the night on the sofa. Rhys is still sparko now, doing the occasional grumble but I'm not expecting him awake for another half hour. Could get used to this.. was nice not having to worry about waking him up just by getting into bed! :o Really must get his room sorted..

Got a friend coming round late this morning - she does music sessions in nurseries with 0-5s and is calling in on her way back from one. She did the same last week, I went into the kitchen to make a cuppa and came back to find her singing "Grandma got run over by a reindeer!" to Rhys and him giggling away!

Oh no Bruno :(. Sorry I haven't got any helpful suggestions.

Elle, I noticed your light was on and held off posting to see if you would be the last poster last night and the first this morning :D

    Lol at Elle's light ;p
Thanks Choppy; it's not that bad really as he is great in so many other ways, but I do have 5am moments thinking I don't want another baby  and 3pm moments when if I don't have another coffee my presentation skills become very confused and bleary!

Wouldn't be the first time.. :o:(

Rhys just woke up. Gave me the most puzzled look ever when I appeared at the end of his crib.. maybe it's cos he's used to me peering at him from the side, looking a lot less awake than I do now :p No crying yet, oddly.. just playing with his toys

 I don't think I'll be singing that to Chris! :o

good night here (I think :undecided) I vaguely remember getting up around 3am but I don't think I needed to feed , my back is a bit sore though and I could do with another couple of hours but that's my fault for being addicted to FB games

    Hee hee.

I know what you mean Bruno. Sometimes I get all broody and think I'd love another little newborn (not yet - Caitlin's only 4 months old!) but then when we have nights like the three earlier this week with barely any sleep, I think "do we really want to do it all again?" :rotfl:
