glad Kian's jabs went ok - Jack's got his tomorrow
Need to get some calpol but HV did say chemist might not sell it to me cos he's under 3 months so need to make sure they know I know how to use it i.e. half a dose.

Good luck with Jacks injections tomorrow. Alex had his first set of injections last Thursday. The Practice Nurse gave me a prescription for paracetamol for him without even asking. She said to just give him 2.5ml per dose instead of 5ml.

    MFD - Gingerman???
I wouldn't worry about the wrapping, my fairies like to recyle too ;) I'm intigued at what peoples fairies are sending though...

Ooops! I always think I tell you everything!

After we had visited the CM a couple of times and I had told her that Benjamin was going to be placed with her she told her girls who were very excited!

A few days later the youngest girl (2) was asking for Gingerman all day. CM had been reading them fairy tales and had read the Gingerbread Man (run, run, as fast as you can!!) recently so she told LO that she could have gingerman at bedtime.

Bedtime comes and LO runs upstairs and starts crying because there is no Gingerman...

....she was talking about Benjamin :A

    Awwww, bless!

    Closes at 8pm Mon/Tues/Wed/Sat and 9pm Thur/Fri.

Annoying cos it's the closest to me.. it's about five mins in the car (took me longer to get out of our drive tonight past OH's stupidly long car!), whereas Asda/Tesco/Sainsburys (along with early-closers Netto/Aldi/Lidl) are all of ten mins away... oh, the hardship! :o

OH says I'd appreciate how easy I've got it if I had a job, and it'd stop me feeling so depressed.

Oh, went to clinic, 1oz gained in 3 weeks. Looks like LO will be back on 50th Centile soon. Can't help worrying. He appears to be 76cm, which is above the 99.6th. Not bad for a baby so short he wasn't on the charts. I cam see why they don't measure length any more.

Don't get a job for this reason hun (in red) however getting out and about might help with your depression. I am feeling very  at your OH for making you feel like this.
Toby eats anything really, but still likes to breastfeed pretty often. He'll eat any type of cooked or uncooked vegetables (peas and carrots ate favourites) and really likes natural yogurt and home made rice pudding. He eats ham sandwiches, toast and rice cakes too. Don't know how long he could go without a breastfeed though, it is still 90 minutes or so during the day (but he does a 6 hour stretch, followed by a 4 hour one at night).

I don't feel ready and I don't want to, but OH keeps saying it'll help. I used to work in a charity shop and didn't enjoy it. I hid upstairs on my own ironing clothes. I hated being responsible for anything, and would often cry while trying to work out if clothes were good enough quality.

If you're not ready then DON'T DO IT! And if you do volunteer don't do something you don't enjoy. What about volunteering to spend some time with the elderly or perhaps with someone with children who has no support? You could even take Tobes along, I'm sure old ladies would LOVE cooing over him. I walked past an old people's home today and thought I wonder if they would like a visit from a cute baby to brighten up their day but then thought maybe that was a bit weird

You take things one step at a time and do things at YOUR pace and when you feel ready.

checked inside and must also weigh over 4kg

Ta very much and to Sami for the linky (damn multiquotes!)
I think the HV was just warning me they might refuse and if they did she told me what to say to make sure they did. My HV is lovely :)

We have a breakthrough in Chez Glam - Jack had a bath but was crying loads so I skipped the massage. We sat in a darkened room while he had his bottle, then when he was sleepy I popped him in his cot with the lullabies and night light from the monitor on. Had to go in 4 times but I didn't pick him up just stroked his head and shushed him and after 30 minutes he dropped off to sleep ON HIS OWN :j:j:j

Just debating now whether to do a dream feed and risk him being awake all night again OR letting him wake up on his own but could be a pain to get him back to sleep again. Decisions Decisions!

Elle - My fuel tank is on the red however I have no money so can't fill it up! I walked to baby clinic and then to baby massage! Will probably have to put some fuel in it soon - saves a fortune this maternity leave lark!

MM - :rotfl:at your OH but hope ur back feels better soon

(god, my posts are long :o)

    Quickie update before bed:

Drainage tube is in and the stuff coming out is infected and disgusting. Antibiotics have been strengthened accordingly.

I am feeling irrationally angry at pancreases. They're only appendixes with notions and hormones.
