Oh knew i'd forgotten something, we've got the financial bloke coming over tomorrow evening to discuss a few things.

Just had the environmental health over at long last, maybe we'll get somewhere now.

I am currently feeling rough with tonsilitis, dreading (TMI) getting thrush because of the antibiotics and wondering if they can make your periods go all funny only a day after taking them?!

    Afternoon all..

My chunky monkey is now 9lb 15oz.. another 6oz since Thursday, and almost a pound in ten days! We're now to reduce the amount of extra milk powder he has - used to be two scoops, then four scoops and now down to three

He's still doing well with his physio. They assess him as being 16wks corrected so he's doing really well for that and almost as well as a six month old should. Got to work on him holding things in both hands together, but he does hold his bottle, he just wouldn't hold anything in front of the physio this afternoon. He impressed them with his grasp of a rattle which he held for ages, and also his rolling.

He's now sparko on my shoulder - has been awake since my mum got here at 12pm and been playing non-stop since then, poor wee thing! :o

I've sorted his clothes and finally found some more vests and sleepsuits buried at the bottom of a pile. Lucky I found them cos he'll probably only get one more wear out of them - they're "up to 9lb" size. That said, some of his 7.5lb tshirts still fit, and I'm going to drag the short sleeve ones back out the bag too and follow Em's tip of the long sleeve vest underneath! :D

ETA: Maz, Glam was lining curtains with Ikea fleeces the other day..

ETA2: Was it Pookie talking about sleeping bags for dinkies? We have a "up to 7.5lb" sleeping bag which we received from fairies... Ol' Chunky here is too long for it now so can pass back to the fairies for redistribution if needed :D

I know what you mean, mine has just gone down as Henry has turned 2 and I get a bit of tax credits for that but yep wouldnt get anything for mum.... plus she loves it really, it keeps her and dad young (they're both 75!!!)

My Dad is 74 (Mum is 64) and love having Poppy & Jamie twice a week (even though there is no reason for them to be 'minded'!). Poppy absolutely adores her Grandad (in fact she 'loves him all the world'! :)).

  • Hi everyone

We're on the road to recovery from the first bout of all round d&v in the SB household :(. It was Jamie's first sickness episode and Poppy's second (and I can't remember the last time I was so very ill, so ill that Mum had to come and collect the children on Saturday). We're all as bright as buttons today except for DH who appears to be taking much longer to recover!.

    xx
