Elle I wanted an engagement ring like that but it wouldn't go with my wedding ring. speaking of which
anyone sold tesco points on ebay? I've got about £300 woth once its quadrupled in deals, was gonna get a goldsmith voucher for an engagement/eternity ring but I looked on their website and I hate everrything.
Its for my Christmas prezzie and we can't afford to use 'real money' for it (well thats what OH says even though he bought and ipod touch on wednesday!!)

The inscription is really the reason for the rings.. We're having "Rhys Alary 17~05~2009" :) Silver/white gold (will see when we go look which we prefer etc - OH wanted titanium but apparently you can't engrave on it) bands because that's what the majority of the nurses in SCBU wore - I know they were wedding rings, but it's just the reminder too ;)

I've just had a bowl of cold roast potatoes with salad cream.. soak up some of the wine ;)
  • We have been married for 3 1/2 years and I still don't have an engagement ring!!! We couldn't afford it at the time and we haven't gotten around to it since.

If hubby pulls off a big deal he is working on this week I have told him he is taking me to the jewellery quarter ;)

Its inscribed on the inside with 'happily ever after'!

OH's is inscribed with 'today, tomorrow, always'.
ooh that was my 2nd choice ring - luckily I managed to get my 1st choice pone though :D

We bought my first engagement ring at the airport on the way to the wedding!!

I have had an assortment of engagement rings ever since. Hubby usually gets me a new one every year. Most of them are from QVC!!!

ps. thats not actually OHs ring as it is now, it was too small but we didn't have time to fix it (its a family heirloom so wanted to have it) MIL took it to dubai with her and had it made bigger and set on to a white gold ring and it spins on top of it, we worked out how much it cost (about £150) had it valued for insurance... £550 woo hoo

not that we'd sell it it was a woohoo at the MSEness of dubai jewllers
