Karen - call one of the helplines, trust me they are totally used to crying mum's calling them
Also ask the MW where your nearest breastfeeding group is (again they are used to crying mummies so don't be embarrassed) they are fantastic if you find one that is a general one that you can go to for a chat every week you can make some great friends too
It does get better, they do learn how to do it. I found it much better after I'd reached 2weeks but wasn't totally settled with it until about a month0 -
dare I ask..are they too small or too big?
I'm not impressed that at 8mths preg I said "I'll blantantly never get back in those sz10s from pre-Chris" and binned them all

Karen, breastfeeding can be difficult for mums and babies to get the knack of. You're not failing Tegan (and congratulations on the birth!). Molly did the same end-of-the-nipple thing early on and raised a blister  but around three weeks she figured it out.
You could try expressing a little bit before you feed so the breast's not as full so it might be easier for her to latch on? Or try a different position, it might be easier lying down. Good luck

Also have a go at some other positions, babies often push against a hand on the back of their head/neck. kellymom and the breastfeeding network sites would be my first port of call.
Do you always feed when she is obviously hungry ie. crying/unsettled? if so try her when she's calmer, its much easier when you know its not urgent that she feeds0 -

be over soon and you'll wish you had the peace n quiet of pregnancy again0 -
labour vibes for GISI!!!!!! seems like forever a go i was recieving them and now i have a terror who is into everything!
karen when your feeding wrap her up so her arms arent in the way, also get comfortable. i found feeding easier when lying down in the early days with her head resting on my arm. also phone the helpline and there are lots of ladies on here with fantastic advice! What's for you won't go past you0 -
Thanks ladies! Can't wait to have a terror of my own!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

havent ordered anything from the tesco glitch, thought about it but decided not to. we've got a few little bits for seth for xmas (stacking blocks, stacking rings, a couple of bath toys, a activity triangle thing and a shape sorter, all from asdas 3 for £5 or wilkos) and dont really need anything else, he wont know whats going on! we've asked M&FIL for a new car seat for him cos he now doesnt really fit in it, he looks all squished and we have to take his coat/jacket off to squeeze him in!! and have asked my nan for a walking thing, she would prefer him to have a old fashioned wooden one like the one MFD got for benjamin from ikea. i would prefer him to have a bright one with lots of things on it cos he doesnt have a lot of toys IYSWIM? what do you think of these:
vtech i like this one cos it seems to have the most to play with, but its the most expensive lol!

is it really that important to have one that doubles as a ride on? do they even bother with things they can ride on?Mummy to
