Kids are getting an xbox as a joint christmas pressie, but we have only just thought to look into the live membership and have discovered that it is per person, so we would need to purchase two lots of membership...I have seen them on amazon for £32.99, but £65.98 is still a lot to pay every year especially as dh wasn't keen on them even getting an xbox anyway!!!

Do you know of anyway around this, or of cheaper membership (gold) anywhere?

Thanks, better prices...I can't believe rip-off microsoft make you pay per-person as opposed to the subscrition covering each console!! I mean how many people share one console that often in the same house, they wouldn't lose out on that much money really...con artists:o:mad:

It is particularly annoying as I know ds2 won't use it anywhere near as much as ds1, yet we can't not get him his own account....Ah well, is done now:cool:
