Right, I was attempting to catch up but the fantastic cakes were making me hungry and I stupidly clicked Elles link to the Jellycat website and now I am spending money. Bad GirlHarley - I've just bought some baby leg warmers for Ed while he's in the sling as that's the only bit that seems to get cold when he's in an outfit plus thinish winter jacket. I got some off amazon and some on ebay and a few were posted the same day, I can PM you the sellers if you're interested?
Right off for a quick shower
Thanks Sami, hadn't even thought of leg warmers. They would be perfect, if you can find time to send me the sellers I would appreciate it. xxxLook who arrived this morning.. linkyOH was adamant he wanted Rhys to have a special toy to carry around with him and he chose that one. He's very cute!
You're the bad girl referred to above, not me. I cannot be held accountable when you put such lovely stuff right under my nose. I want one of each please:rotfl:
I have had a lovely day, didn't make it to singing, Kezia finally woke up at 9.54am. Chilled out, had cuddles drank tea until parents arrived at 12 for babysitting whilst I went for the loveliest massage I've had in ages (not that I've had any) got a half price voucher and figured I deserved a treat.
Then, I finally got hold of the benefits people to find out that I qualified for the Surestart Maternity grant of £500 and it will be in the bank on Monday:T
The only bad thing was putting together that Bright Starts Bounce Bounce thing. Like a jumperoo but cheaper. And God, is it cheap!!! The instruction book was damp and mouldy and stuck together so we kept missing bits, took 3 attempts before it was together. 2 of the toys you attach to it are damaged and generally it was just hard work. I really hope she likes it now.
The silly thing is, I only ironically suggested we put it together today since I got it from Mothercare and it was likely to be rubbish. How typical that I was right. Again.
£30 of their damn vouchers left and I'll never darken their door again.
Hope the rest of you had a great day too, I'm not reading back anymore incase I end up spending even more money. (Please stop showing me nice things, and if you start talking about boots again I'm switching you all off:rotfl:)

Very proud mummy to Gorgeous baby girl - 29/09/09 :j

It's really interesting how couples handle the joint finances thing. The main difficulty with our system (total joint finances, main administrator-weezl) is that when we buy each other presents it's hard to keep it a surprise.
We tend to do a kind of: I'm going to draw £25 cash out for your anniversary pressie is that ok?
So romantic non?

We're the same as you, Weezl
. However, not much present buying goes on so no big glitch in our system! :rotfl:.
DH never questions what I take out and the odd bits I sell on eBay and the vouchers I get from surveys is my financial contribution to the SB Household.
