He wasn't, Jillie, but he likes to make phone calls whereas I like to write letters. I find that writing a thoroughly poisonous complaint letter takes away most of my annoyance, but he's more an immediate-action kind of person :)

They're sending us a copy of their policy as regards children.

Now I know Molly was loud, and I tried all the normal things to calm her and when it was obvious that it wasn't working we were getting ready to go. That's when the woman came over - it was already obvious that we were leaving but she just wouldn't leave us alone.

did they say anything or is it just sending you a copy of their policy?

Howdy all. Sorry for prolonged absence, just one of those things. News is, I've hired a Nanny! She should be starting in Mid January. 4 hours a week, although it is likely only going to be 2 hours at first, as I don't think LO will go 4 hours without a feed.

Toby's name was mentioned - I've decided to stick with Jacob as a middle name as it would show on his Birth Certificate that I've changed it. Decided that next baby (no, not yet!) will have the middle name I wanted as his first name. Toby is a great name, although everyone has known a cat or dog named Toby at some point. Toby Jugs are often mentioned.

I'm still quite low, really not able to get out, but hopefully will be able to when OH is off work. I invited all the NCT ladies here as I really can't even get in the garden at the moment, but they all declined :( Maybe next time! Still no news on therapy, and the Psychiatric Nurse still hasn't come to see me. Decided against medication as I can't manage appointments and prescriptions without support, so I should not start on anything.

I'm sure there is lots I'm supposed to say, but I'm really not up-to-date and don't want to say the wrong thing.

Toby news - he can now pull himself to standing, and stand for long periods with just one hand resting on the furniture for balance. He can also furniture-cruise along the sofa when he spots my dinner or the remote.

OH's last day at work today, so I won't be around much over Xmas. Hope everyone has a nice Festive Period :)

Thats great Sami than ks, i never thought of utube. I noticed the loopy thing on the side so assumed it must be strapped in, but the blaady thing seems covered in little loopy pieces :rotfl:

I cant get the bumper bar attached either I must be seriously daft, it has the adapters in so the double seat can go above, do i need to remove them to have the bar in
yes remove the adapters :) have you got the hang of folding it up and down yet? I have litterly only mastered it in the last month or so (Been using it for about 6mths now )

    :grouphug: Feelie

I think Toby's a lovely name and goes really nicely with Jacob, FWIW. I also think a nanny is a fantastic idea and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Small update from me - my family appear to have chosen their dog over Molly and our Christmas may be cancelled or at least moved to a hotel. And Molly and I were thrown out of Starbucks today. Husband has called to complain and they have said they'll pass along his concerns, so I am going to write a thoroughly toxic letter for my own edification.

Just about got it!! after 3 hours I realised I needed to push the front wheel to the back to get it to lock. Spent ages trying to figure it out. Also took a good 45 mins from unwrapping it, to find how to unlock it :rotfl:I fitted all the wheels while it was still folded because I had given up, then discovered the grey button.

Hi Feelie! some positives in that post so yey for those xxx Hope you have a lovely Christmas.

MrsM if you drive be careful when folding it out doors its very easy to get the handle scuffed and or dirty and the front wheel scratched, I've got a chunk missin from the paint because OH wouldn't wait for me to fold it

SS - it's a shame that barrista doesn't work at the sb's in town here, theres always grubby sprogs running around it
